Hitler was eigenlijk op taktisch vlak niet veel waard. Een capabel heerser was hij wel, moet gezegd worden. Een land dat kompleet aan de grond zat op een 15-tal jaren uitbouwen tot een staat die heel Europa platlegt, het moet u maar gegeven zijn.
Langs de andere kant was hij natuurlijk een ongelooflijke klootzak die geen enkel menselijk kenmerk vertoonde.
