"Again the high priest asked him, and saith unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am..." (American Standard Bible)

Nog even de recente bijbelvertaling van de Grieks-Orthodoxe Kerk in de VS erbij gehaald (vertaling vanuit de Patriarchale versie):

"Again, the high priest asked him,“Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
Jesus replied, “I am."
