Sommige strategen in de VS beginnen zich af te vragen of het wel zo snugger is een nieuw ijzeren gordijn in Europa op te trekken om de toenadering tussen Europa en Rusland tegen te houden. Ze hopen Rusland in het 'westerse' blok te trekken tegen China.
Maar eigenlijk hopen ze zowel Europa als Rusland te domineren op die manier.
