Voor diegene die het interesseert... even uitleggen ...
In USA bestaat er een federale premie van $7500 op electrowagens, maar die gaat halveren zodra een constructeur - zoals Tesla - 200.000 stuks verkocht heeft in de USA (van al hun modellen), deze halvering duurt 6 maand (naar $ 3750 premie), en nadien valt de federale premie naar nul.

Tesla model 3 wordt in 2017 enkel uitgeleverd in de USA, maar ondertussen zitten de USA-uitleveringen van Model S en X al ruim boven de 100.000 stuks, dus dat zou eens te rap kunnen intreden wslk ergens in het eerste kwartaal 2018.
Nogal logisch dat Tesla probeert zijn model3-verkoopsaantallen daar wat op af te stellen, ook in hun eigen voordeel denk ik. Want terugroepacties wegens "afwerkingsfouten" daar is Tesla zeker niet mee gediend, dus gaat de productie relatief langzaam opgedreven worden tot einde 2017, Tesla gaat zich weinig aantrekken van de verwachtingen en-of van de beurskoers. Ze kunnen de pot op.
Voor de US-Tesla-consument enkel maar een voordeel, toch diegene die van $7500 of nadien nog een periode van 6 maand van $3750 premiemogelijkheid genieten. Gereserveerd hebben ze hun model 3 al. Uiteraard ook de S/X bestellers.

It’s difficult to predict when Tesla will hit 200,000 vehicles, but it looks unlikely that it will be by the end of the year with Elon Musk’s updated guidance for early Model 3 production.
Earlier this week, Musk said that they plan to deliver the first 30 units at an event at the end of the month and scale to 100 units in August, 1,500 units in September, and they aim for a production rate of 20,000 units in December, which is the most important thing.
The production rate at the moment they hit 200,000 vehicles determines how many people can still benefit from federal tax credit during the first phase-out period.
If Tesla sticks to Musk’s guidance for the Model 3 production ramp up and deliveries stay concentrated in the US, it looks like the phase-out would start during the first quarter 2018.
That’s where things start to get interesting because in order to optimize the number of people benefiting from federal tax credit, *Tesla would try to hit the mark early in the quarter or wait for the next, and concentrate Model 3 production in the US during that period*, which could result in pushing deliveries in other countries.
But if Musk is right and they can be at 20,000 Model 3 vehicles per month by December, it could solve most of the problems and they could work through most of Tesla’s Model 3 backlog in the US with the federal tax credit available.
Either way, it looks like US-based Model 3 buyers should have access to at least half of the $7,500 federal tax credit throughout 2018 and likely the entire credit for most of the year.

En voor de overzeese consument wslk ook een voordeel want ze gaan minder lang wachten op hun model 3. De 200.000 limiet geldt enkel voor de uitleverde aantallen in de USA.
Naar het buitenland kan Tesla vanaf 2018 ongehinderd meer stuks leveren. En ook daar worden naargelang inschrijvingsjaar de premies verminderd, zoals in Vlaanderen. Dus het gaat ons ook wat aan, al is het maar 1000 of 500 € premie meer.
Iemand die in Vlaanderen zijn E-wagen - bvb catalogusprijs 31 tot 41k zonder opties - in 2018 inschrijft ipv in 2019 krijgt namelijk 1000 € meer premie terug, hopelijk ligt voor hun de prijs van een m3 onder 41k wat ook €500 scheelt:
