De logica van het kapitaal kent ook zijn politieke fenomenen: ongeremde haat en een totalitaire newspeak. De aristocratische hoogmoed van de gefrustreerde middenklasse kent verdacht veel gelijkenissen met het fascisme. Meer dan ooit is de strijd tegen het fascisme een strijd tegen het liberalisme.
