Deze wetgeving geeft de EU vergaande macht om alle propaganda die tegen haar gevoerd wordt te censureren.
Onder het mom van "fake news" bestrijding wordt vrije meningsuiting op forum.politics.be strafbaar.
Kleur bekennen in Sinterklaasassistenten wordt gevaarlijk.
Het is een publiek geheim dat dit forum op EU commando zal doodbloeden.
Laat ons hopen dat Wilders zijn "Minder EU" gaat waarmaken en deze EU wet niet geratificeerd wordt. Dan kunnen Belgen asiel zoeken in Nederland om hun vrije mening te kunnen blijven uiten.

Voorlopig is het nog een motie, de stemming erover moet nog gebeuren, maar als het aan Judas Verhofstadt lag, waren de politieke fora van Pol.be gisteren al opgedoekt.
De tekst krijgt gelukkig toch ook wel (verdiende) kritiek over zich:
“The report identifies two threats regarding propaganda: a State actor, namely Russia, and terrorist groups such as Daesh. It wishes to tackle radicalisation and terrorist propaganda though enhanced Member States and EU cooperation. But focuses on granting the EU the means to support its own strategic propaganda campaigns, mainly against Russia.

• promotes the EU race for Free Trade Agreements in East Neighbourhood and beyond promoting thus an escalation of tensions with Russia and its Eurasian Economic Union
• does not reflect EU's negative and escalating role regarding the current conflicts in the southern and eastern EU- neighbourhood nor the propaganda developed, mainly by the US, to legitimate its past interventions like in Iraq leading to a regional chaos
• does not recognises its own propaganda on EU democracy as the only one possible, which highlights a presumed superiority that may be offensive
• it pledges paradoxically for “independent medias” to be supported by the EU”
Maw, de censuurpolitie staat voor onze deuren, maar mag nog even niet binnen.

Tot slot, de EU doet met haar censuurdrang een principe van de UVRM geweld aan:
"whereas Article 11 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union provides that everyone has the right to freedom of expression and that this right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers;"
Maw, door 'foute' meningen te censureren/te vervolgen, zondigt de EU tegen haar eigen 'universele' werkregels.
