Vandaag betogen meer dan tachtig organisaties tegen de oorlog in Irak. Onder die organisaties onze grote vakbonden, de vzw Vrede enz.

Men spreekt over een 'vredesbetoging'.
Maar ze gaat alleen over Irak.
Waarom ook ook geen aandacht vragen voor o.a. de miljoenen mensen die in oorlogsgeweld sterven in Afrika? En voor de oorlog in Tsjetsjeniië?...

Renders, voorzitter van het ACW, zegt: ,,Dat is een terechte vraag. Ik waarschuw ook altijd dat we moeten oppassen niet in een te beperkt vaarwater terecht te komen.''

Maar ondanks die waarschuwing, gaat men gewoon door met het selectief betogen...

Welke agenda hebben die vredesbetogers?... :wink:

lees er hun platform op na: een einde aan de illegale oorlog tegen en bezetting van Irak. Is dat zo moeilijk om te begrijpen?

Au fond is dat dus geen anti-VSA betoging aangezien daar toch een 'zéér brede' coalition of the Willing actief is, nee?
