En Europe, et plus spécifiquement en Belgique, les coûts de l’éléctricité et de l’energie en général sont entrés dans une spirale haussière, boostés par une politique d’abandon du nucléaire. Ceci a mené �* un remplacement par un cocktail d’énergies dites vertes, qui ne doivent leur existence qu’�* des subventions massives supportées par l’ensemble des consommateurs et qui influence directement le coût des marchandises que nous produisons.

Faut-il rappeler que cette orientation est avant tout idéologique, inspirée par la peur d’un réchauffement climatique qui serait causé par les activités humaines, alors que cette théorie n’est toujours scientifiquement pas prouvée.

Le palier du réchauffement global, observé depuis 17 ans maintenant, alors que les émissions de CO2 n’ont cessé d’augmenter, est la preuve de l’absence de corrélation entre ces deux paramètres.

Récemment, les représentants du secteur industriel ont instamment demandé de donner la priorité �* la réduction des coûts de l’énergie, au risque de voir une délocalisation massive de la production notamment vers les USA et son énergie bon marché.

Il est particulièrement surprenant que les syndicats belges continuent �* privilégier les phantasmes des « green jobs ».

Quand donc les travailleurs prendront-ils conscience que la manipulation idéologico-politique dont ils sont l’objet conduit �* la disparition des emplois encore occupés dans le secteur industriel en Belgique ?

In Australie kon men zelfs boetes oplopen indien men iets negatief over de AGW-onzin vertelde. Zo mocht men niet zeggen dat voedsel duurder zou zijn/worden vanwege de CO-2 tax. Geheime stasi-stijl (undercover) agenten speurden in restaurants en bars naar zij welke zich hieraan schuldig maakten.

The UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has changed its tune after issuing stern warnings about climate change for years

Scientists working on the most authoritative study on climate change were urged to cover up the fact that the world’s temperature hasn’t risen for the last 15 years, it is claimed.

A leaked copy of a United Nations report, compiled by hundreds of scientists, shows politicians in Belgium, Germany, Hungary and the United States raised concerns about the final draft.

Published next week, it is expected to address the fact that 1998 was the hottest year on record and world temperatures have not yet exceeded it, which scientists have so far struggled to explain.

The report is the result of six years’ work by UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is seen as the world authority on the extent of climate change and what is causing it – on which governments including Britain’s base their green policies.

But leaked documents seen by the Associated Press, yesterday revealed deep concerns among politicians about a lack of global warming over the past few years.

Germany called for the references to the slowdown in warming to be deleted, saying looking at a time span of just 10 or 15 years was ‘misleading’ and they should focus on decades or centuries.

Hungary worried the report would provide ammunition for deniers of man-made climate change.

Belgium objected to using 1998 as a starting year for statistics, as it was exceptionally warm and makes the graph look flat - and suggested using 1999 or 2000 instead to give a more upward-pointing curve.

The United States delegation even weighed in, urging the authors of the report to explain away the lack of warming using the ‘leading hypothesis’ among scientists that the lower warming is down to more heat being absorbed by the ocean – which has got hotter.

The last IPCC ‘assessment report’ was published in 2007 and has been the subject of huge controversy after it had to correct the embarrassing claim that the Himalayas would melt by 2035.

It was then engulfed in the ‘Climategate’ scandal surrounding leaked emails allegedly showing scientists involved in it trying to manipulate their data to make it look more convincing – although several inquiries found no wrongdoing.

The latest report, which runs to 2,000 pages, will be shown to representatives from all 195 governments next week at a meeting in Stockholm, who can discuss alterations they want to make.

But since it was issued to governments in June, they have raised hundreds of objections about the 20-page summary for policymakers, which sums up the findings of the scientists.

What it says will inform renewable energy policies and how much consumers and businesses will pay for them.

The report is expected to say the rate of warming between 1998 and 2012 was about half of the average rate since 1951 – and put this down to natural variations such as the El Nino and La Nina ocean cycles and the cooling effects of volcanoes.

A German climate scientist - Stefan Rahmstorf, who reviewed the chapter on sea levels - yesterday admitted it was possible the report’s authors were feeling under pressure to address the slowdown in warming due to the ‘public debate’ around the issue.

The draft report, which is not new research but a synthesis of all the work being done by scientists around the world, is likely to be highly disputed at the three-day meeting.

It will make the case that humans are causing global warming with carbon emissions even more strongly upgrading it from ‘very likely’ in 2007 to ‘extremely likely’ it is manmade.

But scientists are under pressure to explain why the warming has not exceeded 1998 levels although the decade 2000-2010 was the hottest on record.

Alden Meyer, of the Union of Concerned Scientists based in Washington, said yesterday: ‘I think to not address it would be a problem because then you basically have the denialists saying: ‘Look the IPCC is silent on this issue.’

Jonathan Lynn, a spokesman for the IPCC said yesterday: ‘This is the culmination of four years’ work by hundreds of scientists, where governments get a chance to ensure the summary for policymakers is clear and concise in a dialogue with the scientists who wrote it, and have the opportunity to raise any topics they think should be highlighted.’

Ondertussen worden kustlijnen alsmaar meer verwoest door nooit geziene superstormen zoals Sandy en Katrina, gevoed door het opgewarmde zeewater.

Ondertussen ondersteunen ALLE nationale science academies in de hele wereld de anthropogene klimaatsverandering.

Wie nu nog mainstream media verkiest boven de mening van 95% van de wetenschappers en boven harde data moet wel heel goedgelovig en naief zijn!

Ik zou toch maar eens de échte waarnemingen bekijken in plaats van de boekskes.

Fantastisch. Ge negeerd een trend die zich over tientallen jaren aan het afspelen is door een enkele opwaartse fluctuatie. Nog nooit een grafiek gezien zeker? Goed voorbeeld is dat 2 liter bijtanken in een tank die bijna leeg is lijkt op een enorme stijging maar dat is het niet! En nee ik haal het niet uit de boekskes ik ben licenciaat Biologie en heb een MSc. in Milieubeheer, ik weet waar ik mijn informative moet halen en dat is niet van blogs mijnheer de negationist.

Hoe verklaar ge trouwens alle warmte records, de perfecte koppeling van de CO2 niveau's aan temperatuurniveau's over 800 000 jaar, de nooit geziene stormen? Mensen zoals u zijn enorm schadelijk voor ons.

Een imo interessant aspect van het global warming debat zijn de publicaties van "wetenschappers" die claimen dat gevestigde theorieën fout zijn. Pseudo-science is van alle tijden maar aanhangers van deze theorieën behoren niet tot de traditionele "perpetuum mobile", free energy, of conspiracy crowd. Integendeel, deze theorieën worden voorgesteld als bewijs dat global warming pseudo-science is, strijdig met de wetten van de fysica.

• argument dat het broeikaseffect in strijd is met de tweede wet van de thermodynamica, en varianten hierop. bvb "Falsification Of The Atmospheric CO2 Greenhouse Effects Within The Frame Of Physics" door Gerhard Gerlich, Ralf D. Tscheuschner.

• argument dat het broeikaseffect niets te maken heeft met de werking van een broeikas of serre. Alsof de wiskunde betreffende Fibonacci getallen ongeldig is omdat Fibonnaci niet de ontdekker was...

• er bestaat niet zoiets als een globale temperatuur.

• CO2 stijging is een gevolg, geen oorzaak van stijgende temperatuur: het eerste sluit het tweede niet uit. Het is niet omdat hoge temperaturen meestal veroorzaakt worden door vuur dat hieruit volgt dat hoge temperatuur geen vuur kan veroorzaken.

Van Nahle zijn er een hoop publicaties over global warming te vinden. Hier claimt hij dat de total emmisivity van CO2 in de atmosfeer 0.002 is.

Een bioloog die beweert fouten te vinden in publicaties van fysici, dat is reden genoeg om skeptisch te zijn. hij berekent de emmisivity op twee manieren:

- 1 via partial pressure:


"As Hottel diminished the partial pressure of the carbon dioxide, its total emissivity also decreased in such form that, below a partial pressure of 0.006096 atm-m and a temperature of 33 °C, the total emissivity of the carbon dioxide was not quantifiable because it was almost zero."

partiele druk in atm*meter? Hier klopt iets niet. Wie de referenties naleest merkt dat Hottel de emmisiviteit in functie van "partial-pressure-beam-length product" bepaalde. Maw de waarden in functie van partiële druk die Nahle meent te zien betreffen een luchtlaag van één meter dikte/hoogte/doorsnee... niet de hele atmosfeer. Voor een laag van bvb 4km dikte met partiële druk van 0.00038 geven Hottel's grafieken een emmisiviteit van 0.2 , niet 0.002 zoals Nahle berekent.

- via Mean Free Path Length and Crossing Time Lapse of Quantum/Waves Method:
Hier past hij formules toe uit de astronomie: hoe de energie geproduceerd in het binnenste van een ster naar de oppervlakte getransporteerd wordt. Het komt neer op de aanname dat opgevangen stralingsenergie onmiddelijk weer wordt uitgestraald en niet als kinetische energie doorgegeven wordt aan de omringende luchtmoleculen.
Ofwel: het is het toepassen van formules (gevonden met google? "radiant energy transfer" bvb) zonder begrip van de context.

U komt effe vanuit uw bio-lokaal een stok in een hoenderhok gooien bevolkt door dr. en ir. die niet vanuit 1 vakidiote warmist-richting denken, gebaseerd op een levensgrote leugen : CO2 heeft er zéér weinig mee te maken en zijn concentraties ijlen NA op de T-evoluties.

Maar daarvoor moet je wel effe de VOSTOK-diagrammen bekijken uiteraard.

Eén van de genantste papers die ooit door peer review zijn gesukkeld, en waar al gauw een vernietigende rebuttal op werd geschreven.

Overigens was Gerlich in het verleden betrokken bij het hier al een paar keer gepasseerde tabakslobbygroepje European Science and Environment Forum. Ik vermeld het, omdat ik het fascinerend blijf vinden hoeveel klimaatskeptici een pro-tabacco verleden hebben.


Ik snap je beeldspraak niet helemaal.

Gemakkelijkheidshalve wordt aan leken het fenomeen uitgelegd door te verwijzen naar een broeikas, hoewel het werkelijk natuurkundige effect compleet anders werkt.

Op heel wat pseudoskeptische sites ziet je mensen echter ontkennen dat het natuurkundige effect werkt als een broeikas. Waarmee ze
1) gelijk hebben
2) aantonen dat ze de natuurkundige uitleg domweg niet kennen...
3) het "broeikaseffect" dus helem�*�*l niet ontkrachten, omdat ze een stroman aanvallen.

Of, in om de Fibonaci-beeldspraak te spreken: heel wat pseudoskeptici vallen de naam Fibonaci aan, terwijl dat niets zegt over de getallen... (zie ook Gerlich & Tscheuschner)

Het is me niet helemaal duidelijk wat je bedoelt.

CO2 zorgt voor een opwarming, en die opwarming zorgt voor een positieve feedback, omdat door de opwarming meer CO2 vrijkomt.
1) dat de huidige CO2-stijging een gevolg is van de verbranding van fossiele brandstoffen is onbetwist.
2) dat CO2 zorgt voor een opwarming, is eveneens onbetwist.

Die twee conclusies volgens niet uit een 'het was vroeger zo, dus het zal nu ook wel zo zijn' (want ik vermoed dat je dat bedoelt met "Het is niet omdat hoge temperaturen meestal veroorzaakt worden door vuur dat hieruit volgt dat hoge temperatuur geen vuur kan veroorzaken"), maar 1) analyse van de samenstelling van de atmosfeer en berekening van de uitstoot van de mens en 2) uit natuurkundige wetten.
