Laat ons zeggen dat Ford Motor Corp Europe,dat ondanks een aanzienlijke reeks restructureringsmaatregelen enkele jaren geleden (waaronder de sluiting van wat ooit de grootste Ford fabriek buiten de VS was,deze in Genk,Belgium) al weet wat te doen bij een volgend rondje.

De Britse "plants" zijn nu vogels voor de kat.Het is ONDENKBAAR dat een multinational lang zal toezien dat er in zijn logistieke ketting (bvb aanvoer van motoren vanuit het VK naar fabrieken in Duitsland en Spanje) plotsklaps extra kosten zullen opduiken.

Dat is PRECIES wat Britse export naar de EU zal meemaken.En er is geen enkele reden denkbaar waarom de EU op zulke dingen zou moeten toegeven.

Het kan nog veel erger:

Het Airbus concern zit ongetwijfeld al te passen en te meten hoe ze hun problemen gaan oplossen.En het zijn problemen van letterlijk serieuze omvang.

Zou je dat onder de noemer 'nihilisme' kunnen catalogeren?

Ene Wilders kan u exact voorrekenen dat het België stukken beter zou gaan als het uit de EU zou stappen.

Meanwhile - between 2014-2020 - £957m is meant to be made available via the Rural Development Programme - a system of grants and loans to support rural communities.
As the UK decouples itself from the EU these payments will continue. But what happens then will be up for discussion.

Dat boerenverstand is niet bijster groot geweest. Met pakweg 5 min zoeken op het web hadden ze na kunnen
gaan dat 350 miljoen slechts hooguit ongeveer 160 miljoen bedroeg, 8 á 9 miljard pond op jaarbasis.

Many British farmers are experiencing ‘Regrexit’ over fears they may lose agricultural subsidies, the Earl of Sandwich has told Parliament.

Speaking in a House of Lords debate, John Montagu said many farmers had voted “without understanding the consequences” and were now in dismay over news they may not receive the same level of payouts made under the EU's Common Agricultural Policy.

“In 2013, farmers received €2.6bn (about £2.2bn) under pillar 1 [an EU funding term] and €637m (£538m) for agri-environment and rural development under 'green' pillar 2," he said.

“How will [the Government] ensure that British farmers continue to receive these payments? We have already heard that they may not.
"There are fears that direct payments will be significantly less under the new Government because of the continuing need for austerity.”

He said the majority of people in his home of west Dorset, particularly in the agricultural community, had voted to leave and were now worried about how Brexit would work, and the financial impact it would have on UK farms.

Baroness Jones of Whitchurch said the "real challenge for farmers" related to the decision over whether the UK will be "allowed to remain in the single market, with its 500 million customers".

"At the moment, 73 per cent of the UK’s total agri-food exports are to other EU countries," she said.
“Seven out of the top 10 countries to which we export food, drink and feed are in the EU.

Meanwhile, our EU partners are currently making it clear that we cannot pick and mix the single market rules, so we cannot have access to the single market without also respecting the free movement of EU citizens.

Het VK had al "beslist" dat in volgend decennium de steenkoolcentrales dicht moeten.
Om een deel van het capaciteitstekort op te vangen (zowat 7% van de totale energievraag) was er sprake van een stel nieuwe kerncentrales,gebouwd door de Fransen,gefinancierd door de Chinezen(met garanties omtrent de kilowatuurprijs die de investeerders hoe dan ook zouden krijgen)....

Mevrouw May,reeds van toen ze Minister BiZa was verontrust over de invloed die een Chinees bedrijf zo op de Britse energievoorziening krijgt ,heeft het ganse project nu "on hold" gezet.(de finale handtekeningen waren nog niet geplaatst).Ook de noodzaak aan "extra risico-analyses" wordt aangehaald.

Het is natuurlijk best mogelijk dat het VK,in zijn overgang naar een meer rurale samenleving,die kerncentrales niet meer nodig zal hebben.... :mrgreen:
