Stanley Meyers process has turned normal electroloysis on its head. His invention uses low amounts of electrical energy (less than 0.5 Amp), and almost produced no normal bye products of excess heat. His technique "fractals" normal tap water and produces large amounts of hydrogen and oxygen on demand. His measurements showed a 1700% greater efficiency than conventional electrolysis. The process uses AC pulses(instead of DC) at specific frequencies (high voltage and frequencies). Those who are prepared to take his work seriously believe he may have tapped into Zero Point Energy, in a similar way to other inventors, like: Alexander Chernetski, Jim Griggs and Nicola Tesla are believed to have in some of the alternate energy circles.
The main-stream scientific community has largely slated his claims, (since they seem to be so far outside conventional thinking and wisdom). Most stated that if the device worked as specified, it would violate both the first and second laws of thermodynamics, and would be a perpetual motion machine. This seems to be strange logic, since all he claimed was that he could run a motor car off water instead of gasoline. (exchanging fuels) The way he extracted the energy from the water by producing browns gas, is different but not perpetual motion.
Although scientists largely ignored and ridiculed his work, he in turn focused rather on registering patents. Even here he faced massive resistance, taking many years in some cases to have his patents registered.
Meyer took his discoveries and worked on converting a beach buggy to run on nothing but water. The buggy had only a tank for water, with no hydrogen tank, or petrol (gas) tank. The buggy had a "water splitter" instead of spark plugs, that fractures the water into hydrogen and oxygen gas, that would then be burned as fuel.
