Wilfried DE BROUWER, Major General, Ret.
After spending 20 years as a fighter pilot, he was appointed to the Strategic Planning Branch in NATO while a Colonel in 1983. He then became Wing Commander of the Belgian Air Force Transport Wing and, in 1989, chief of the Operations Division in the Air Staff. It was in this function that he was confronted with the Belgian UFO wave. Promoted to Major General in 1991, he became Deputy Chief of Staff of the Belgian Air Force, in charge of Operations, Planning and Human Resources. General De Brouwer retired in 1995 and subsequently worked more than ten years as consultant in the United Nations to improve the UN Logistics rapid response capabilities during emergencies.

Dr. Claude POHER, engineer, astronomer and astrophysicist.
Had a 33 year career in space research at CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales), the French equivilant of NASA and was awarded the National Order of Merit. In 1977, he created and directed, at CNES, the GEPAN (Groupe d’Etude des Phénomènes Aérospatiaux Non identifiés ; Group for the Study of Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena), the official French agency dedicated to the investigation and analysis of UFO reports. (Today, the agency is called GEIPAN.) He investigated numerous well-documented UFO cases while training investigators for GEPAN.

Jean-Charles DUBOC, Captain, Air France, Ret.
While piloting an Airbus A 320 over France in 1994, he observed a large lens-shaped UFO at about 25 NM to the left of the plane, also seen by the copilot and one steward. It didn’t move and then disappeared after one minute almost instantaneously. Duboc reported the sighting to Air Traffic Control and Air Defense Operations (CODA); simultaneously CODA recorded an unidentified object on radar crossing the track of the plane. The object seemed to disappear from the radar scope at the same instant as it did from the view of the crew. CODA investigations ruled out a weather balloon or any other aircraft.

Dr. Jean-Claude RIBES, Astrophysicist.
Radio Astronomer, Paris Observatory and associate director of National Institute for Astronomy and Geophysics. Member, New York Academy of Sciences. Contributed to the COMETA report, 1999, and the new book "Phenomenes spatiaux non identifies." As a long term consultant to GEIPAN, he was asked by the Steering Committee to represent GEIPAN at this event.

Parviz JAFARI, General, Iranian Air Force, Ret.
In 1976, as a major and squadron commander, he was ordered by the Air Force Command to approach, in his Phantom F-4 jet, a large UFO observed over Tehran. During a wild cat and mouse chase, he attempted to launch a Sidewinder missile at the brilliant object but at that instant his fire control consul became inoperable. The UFO exhibited an extraordinary degree of maneuverability. Other electromagnetic effects were reported. The object was pursued by a second pilot, recorded on radar and witnessed by a General and experienced air navigation crews. A US Government officer interviewed Jafari in Tehran and the incident was described in a detailed US Defense Intelligence Agency document, released through the Freedom of Information Act. The DIA assessment said “This case is a classic that meets all the necessary conditions for a legitimate study of the UFO phenomenon.” Later, as a General, Jafari became the coordinating officer between the Iranian Army, Navy and Air Force. He retired in 1989.

Rodrigo Bravo GARRIDO, Captain and Pilot for the Aviation Army of Chile.
In 2000, he was assigned to conduct an internal study titled "Introduction to Anomalous Aerial Phenomenon and their considerations for aerospace security" involving previous case reports military planes encounters with UAP. For the last several years he has continued this research on recent and current cases affecting aviation safety in cooperation with the Committee for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (CEFAA), a branch of the General Administration of Civil Aeronautics, Chile's FAA.

Comandante Oscar Alfonso SANTA MARIA HUERTAS
Commander with the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), Ret. Specialization as an Air Force fighter jet pilot. In 1980, while a FAP Lieutenant, he encountered a UFO while flying his SU-22 "SUKOI" jet over the La Joya Military Base. He fired at the object, strafing it with sixty-four 30mm rounds, but the UFO remained unaffected. A US Department of Defense document for the CIA and the NSA, titled “UFO Sighted in Peru,” describes the incident. “The Peruvian Air Force tried to intercept and destroy the UFO, but without success," it states, adding that the vehicle’s origin remains unknown. CMDT Santa Maris is currently a Flight Safety and Accident Prevention Consultant for the airline industry.

Dr. Anthony CHOY
Lawyer and founding member in 2001 of the Air Anomalous Phenomenon Investigation Office (OIFAA), of the Peruvian Air Force, with a Masters from the Peruvian Air Force in High Management in Defense and Aerospace Development. He conducted a three year investigation on a sequence of sightings and landings of a UFO on behalf of the OIFAA in 2002, which were recorded on video. In 2003, this case became the first official UFO investigation in Perú to be disclosed by the Air Force.

Ray BOWYER, Captain, Aurigny Airlines.
In April 2007 he observed a UFO estimated as being up to a mile long, visible from about 50 miles away, in the vicinity of the Channel Islands. Some of his passengers saw the object, as did at least one other pilot in the area. An anomalous radar return was detected and the incident was reported by the BBC.

Nick POPE, official for the UK's Ministry of Defence from 1985 to 2006.
From 1991 to 1994, he was the desk officer responsible for investigating officially documented UFO sightings to determine whether they involved any potential threat to the UK. As a result of his thorough study of some incidents involving the police and military during his watch, he and some colleagues became privately convinced that there were important defense, national security and flight safety issues involved with the unexplained phenomenon.

Jim PENNISTON, TSgt USAF Ret.
While stationed at RAF Bentwaters, a former US Air Force facility in the UK, he witnessed a landed UFO with two military patrolman in nearby Rendlesham Forest. He conducted a 45 minute ground investigation and filed an official report. He has the original log book with drawings including details of symbols on the craft; radiation records; and plaster casts of landing gear imprints. He is the only person out the three witnesses that actually touched the UFO.

Charles HALT, Col. USAF Ret.
Deputy Base Commander of RAF Bentwaters, former US Air Force facility in the UK. He witnessed multiple UFOs at close range with six other military personnel in December, 1980, and documented this event on a pocket tape recorder. He also saw a UFO shooting beams into sensitive weapons storage areas at the base. He wrote an official memorandum for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) describing a UFO maneuvering through the forest and ascending, which was released through the US Freedom of Information Act.

John CALLAHAN, Ret.
Division Chief of the Accidents and Investigations Branch of the FAA in Washington DC, for 6 years during the 1980’s. He investigated an incident in which a 1986 Japanese Airlines 747 flight was followed by an unidentified object for 31 minutes over Alaska. The UFO also trailed a United Airlines flight until the flight landed. Data includes visual confirmation, air-based and ground-based radar confirmation, videotape radar evidence, air traffic voice communications and official reports.

Fife SYMINGTON
Two term Governor of Arizona in the nineties; cousin of the late Missouri Senator Stuart Symington; former Captain, USAF. While Governor, he witnessed to a massive craft up to a mile across over Arizona in 1997, also seen by hundreds of citizens. Although he attempted to investigate at the time, he also publicly spoofed the sighting so as not to add to the public hysteria, while keeping his own observation secret. He first revealed his sighting last March, and states that the craft is of unknown origin and the incident remains unsolved.
"INVESTIGATE THIS!"
Researcher and UFO historian Richard Hall, editor of NICAP’s landmark 1964 compendium “The UFO Evidence,” wrote this message to the media, after being present for the press conference.

Summary Report on Observations 30-31 March 1990

Summary: Summary of the offical report by the Belgian Air Force regarding the UFO events of March, 1990.

Background:
1. Starting early Dec 89 the BAF has been contacted on several occasions by eyewitnesses who observed strange phenomena in the Belgian airspace. On some occasions they described the phenomena as a triangle-shaped platform up to 200 feet wide with 3 downward beaming projectors, hovering at +- 100 m above the ground and making only a very light humming noise. Some witnesses saw the object departing at very high speed after a very fast acceleration. All observations were made in the evening or during the night.

2. The radar stations which had been alerted by eyewitnesses could not definitely determine a correlation between the visual observations and their detection on radar. On two occasions the BAF scrambled 2 F16 during the evening hours.

a. On the first occasion the F16 arrived +- 1 hour after the visual detection. Nothing was observed.

b. On the second occasion, pilots could identify a laser-beam projector on the ground. After investigation it appeared however that the description of the observations totally differed from previously described phenomena.

3. Consequently the Belgian Airforce, anxious to identify the origin of the phenomena, authorised F16 scrambles if following conditions were met:

a. Visual observations on the ground confirmed by the local police.

b. Detection on radar.

Events:

4. On 30 Mar 1990 at 23.00 Hr the Master Controller (MC) of the Air Defense radar station of Glons received a phone call from a person who declared to observe three independent blinking lights in the sky, changing colours, with a much higher intensity than the lights of the stars and forming a triangle. Meteo conditions were clear sky, no clouds, light wind and a minor temperature inversion at 3000 Ft.

5. The MC in turn notified the police of WAVRE which confirmed the sighting at +- 23 30 Hr. Meanwhile the MC had identified a radar contact at about 8 NM North of the ground observation. The contact moved slowely to the West at a speed of =- 25kts and an altitude of 10.000 Ft.

6. The ground observers reported 3 additional light spots which moved gradually, with irregular speeds, towards the first set of lights and forming a second triangle.

7. At 23.50 a second radar station, situated at +- 100 NM from the first, confirmed an identical contact at the same place of the radar contact of Glons.

8. At 00.05 2 F16 were scrambled from BEAUVECHAIN airbase and guided towards the radar contacts. A total of 9 interception attempts have been made. At 6 occasions the pilots could establish a lock-on with their air interception radar. Lock-on distances varied between 5 and 8 NM. On all occasions targets varied speed and altitude very quickly and break-locks occurred after 10 to 60 seconds. Speeds varied between 150 and 1010 kts. At 3 occasions both F16 registered simultaneous lock-ons with the same parameters. The 2 F16 were flying +- 2 NM apart. No visual contact could be established by either of the F16 pilots.

9. The F16 flew 3 times through the observation field of the ground observers. At the third passage the ground observers notified a change in the behavior of the light spots. The most luminous started to blink very intensively while the other disappeared. Consequently, the most luminous spot started to dim gradually.

10. Meanwhile the head of the police of WAVRE had alerted 4 other police stations in the area. All four, separated +- 10 NM from each other, confirmed the visual observations.

11. The aircraft landed at 01.10 Hrs. The last visual observation was recorded at +- 01.30 Hrs.

Conclusions:

12. The Belgian Air Force was unable to identify neither the nature nor the origin of the phenomena. However, it had sufficient elements to exclude following assumptions:

a. Balloons. Impossible due to the highly variable speeds (confirmed visually and by radar).

b. ULM. Same as for balloons.

c. RPV. Impossible due to the hovering characteristics.

d. Aircraft (including Stealth). Same as for RPV. No noise.

e. Laser projections or Mirages. Unlikely due to lack of projection surface (no clouds). Light spots have been observed from different locations. Light spots moved over distance of more than 15 NM. Form of inlighted part of spots has been observed with spectacles. Laser projections or mirages can not be detected by radar.

Control and Reporting Centre (CRC) of Glons is the only unit of the Belgian Air Component which is put under immediate NATO command, even peacetime.
Therefore, the radar centre of Glons is entirely integrated in the NATO air defense chain, which extends from the north of Norway down to the east of Turkey.
All of these radar stations and their command centers are linked to each other via data links and communication equipment. The Staff, all administrative services and the support flight are located in the Ambiorix barracks, just outside the centre of Belgium’s most ancient city.
The operations are controlled from an underground bunker at Glons, a site some 7 miles from Tongeren and just beyond the linguistic frontier. This is also where the unit’s own Medium Power Radar (MPR) is situated.
Also to be found at the Glons site is the NATO Programming Centre (NPC).
This multinational NATO unit, completely independent from the CRC, is responsible for the development and follow-up of all the operational software needed by all the different NATO radar stations for the successful completion of their air defense tasks.

Je beseft toch zelf wel hoe stom dit klinkt he? Een groep van 150 man, waarvan een derde ingenieurs en geeneen een theoretisch natuurkundige met veel verstand van relativiteit of bijvoorbeeld quantummechanica, had decennia geleden al grotere vorderingen in de natuurkunde gemaakt dan waar de rest van de wereld voorlopig nog wel even zoet mee is. Bovendien word deze technologie alleen toegepast om... ja, om wat eigenlijk? Dat word niet vermeld. Daar is tenslotte ook nogal wat fantasie voor nodig, een reden tot geheimhouding bedenken die zo goed is dat je wereldoverheersing en wat je allemaal niet kan bereiken met die technologie ervoor op geeft. Bovendien komt hij ook niet terug op die aliens, wat veel interessanter zou zijn dan een beetje gebrabbel waarin hij vooral niet uitlegt hoe de technologie werkt. Ook vind ik het niet echt als een death bed confession klinken, meer als een verhaal dat een aandachtshoer zou ophangen in een talkshow. Maar het meest merkwaardige is misschien nog wel dat dit verhaal nu pas door allerlei alien sites aan de grote klok gehangen word (Google vind een pagina uit 1999, maar bij klikken blijkt dat ook dat bericht pas deze maand geplaatst is). Waarom dat dan? Was die death bed confession dan niet bedoeld om naar buiten te komen? Nee, dat kan niet, want anders zou er nu al lang geen materiaal meer over bestaan. Al met al verdiend die man waarschijnlijk beter dan dit, laat ze dan in ieder geval een enigzins geloofwaardige hoaxs verzinnen.

Op 27 september wordt er een persconferentie georganiseerd waarbij vele ex-piloten, militairen , etc nog eens uit de beicht spreken (zoals bij disclosure project).

Ufoloog Robert Hastings en voormalig kapitein binnen de Amerikaanse luchtmacht Robert Salas organiseren een persconferentie bij de National Press Club in Washington DC. Aanleiding is de inmenging van UFO’s bij nucleaire wapeninstallaties in de afgelopen 60 jaar.

Tot nu toe zijn zo’n 100 voormalig werknemers van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht naar voren gekomen om te onthullen hoe UFO’s nucleaire wapens monitoren en waar nodig ingrijpen. Deze informatie verandert het historische perspectief op de wapenwedloop en nog veel meer. Het feit dat het Pentagon en de CIA deze waarheden zo lang hebben weggehouden bij de mensen is op z’n minst opzienbarend te noemen.

Terwijl de meeste rapporten alleen spreken over observaties door UFO’s, zijn er ook verslagen van grote aantallen nucleaire raketten die onklaar zijn gemaakt. Dit gaat veel verder dan de zogenaamde Koude Oorlog, want het gebeurt tot op de dag van vandaag nog steeds. Media-aandacht voor UFO-activiteit bij nucleaire wapeninstallaties is er wel, maar vrij summier. De proliferatie van nucleaire wapens is samen met de geheimhouding rond het UFO-fenomeen een belangrijk kernpunt wat alle mensen op Aarde beïnvloed.

Tijdens de persconferentie, die gepland staat voor 27 september 2010, praten twaalf voormalig USAF-militairen over hun eigen ervaringen met UFO’s. Ter introductie zal Hastings zijn 37 jaar lange onderzoek over de relatie tussen UFO’s en nucleaire wapeninstallaties samenvatten. Na de getuigenissen van de voormalig militairen bespreekt Salas nog een paar specifieke anekdotes. Tot besluit is er ruimte voor de verzamelde pers om vragen te stellen.

Zo'n opleiding tot ufoloog, wat houdt dat in eigenlijk ? Een boekje doorbladeren en veel naar boven kijken ?

Ik heb zo het vermoeden dat werkelijk iedereen zich zonder probleem kan uitroepen tot ufoloog.

De officiële versie van de gebeurtenissen bij Roswell stelt dat er geen buitenaards ruimtevaartuig op Aarde is neergestort. Maar de bewijzen stapelen zich op dat er iets met onbekende oorsprong is neergekomen en dat het werd gevonden en benut vanwege de onvoorstelbaar geavanceerde technologie ervan.

De meest bekende getuigenis van de Roswell-crash is misschien wel die van de gepensioneerde kolonel Philip Corso. In zijn verbijsterende boek The Day After Roswell beschrijft Corso dat hij in 1961 de opdracht kreeg van generaal Trudeau, het toenmalige hoofd Research & Development van het leger, om de technologieën en apparaten die het leger uit de wrakstukken bij Roswell had gehaald naar Bell Labs, IBM, Monsanto en nog een paar ondernemingen te smokkelen.

Forensisch onderzoeker Bill McDonald twijfelt niet over de herkomst van het voertuig. Op basis van diepgaande interviews met overlevende ooggetuigen, onder wie mannen van het Counter Intelligence Corps die daar waren, en na het doorspitten van pakken getuigenissen die in vijf jaar onderzoek bijeen werden gebracht, zegt McDonald dat het Roswell-voertuig gemaakt is door een buitenaardse beschaving, een samenleving die een aantal leden verloor die hier onze atoomproeven kwamen onderzoeken.

Als hij het over het Roswell-voertuig en de bemanning heeft, praat hij met een gedempte, bijna eerbiedige stem. Het gangbare Engelse woord ‘alien’ neemt hij niet in de mond. “Dat is respectloos,” zegt hij.

Lees hier het verhaal over de planeet waar 2 zonnen aan de hemel staan. 11 aardse astronauten hebben 13 jaar op deze planeet doorgebracht, 2 zijn daar overleden, 2 zijn daar gebleven en de rest is in 1978 teruggekeerd en inmiddels overleden. Het gaat om het 3.000 pagina’s tellende Serpo-rapport.

Ronald Reagan wordt tussen 6 en 8 maart 1981 ingelicht over de 2 ruimteschepen die bij Roswell en Datil, New Mexico neerstortten. Hij werd ingelicht door toenmalig directeur van de CIA W. Casey, toenmalig minister van defensie C. Weinberger en diverse adviseurs. Er was één overlevende, genaamd EBE, een buitenaards wezen van de planeet Serpo, op 38,42 lichtjaar van de Aarde in het Zeta Reticuli stelsel.

Het eindrapport van Project Serpo werd uitgebracht op woensdag 2 november 2005. Na veel getouwtrek werd het project deels openbaar gemaakt, omdat de tijdslimiet aangaande geheime regeringsprojecten (25 jaar) was verstreken.

De Verenigde Staten van Amerika zijn bezocht door buitenaardse wezens sinds 1947, maar er is ook veel bewijs dat de Aarde al vele duizenden jaren bezocht wordt door verschillende beschavingen van buitenaardse afkomst.

In juli 1947 heeft er iets opmerkelijks plaatsgevonden in New Mexico. Tijdens een storm zijn er twee buitenaardse ruimteschepen neergestort. Eén kwam neer ten zuidwesten van Corona, New Mexico en één stortte neer bij Datil, New Mexico. Het Amerikaanse leger vond uiteindelijke beide plaatsen en borg al het materiaal en één levende buitenaardse.

Deze werd EBE-1 genoemd, waarbij EBE een Engelse afkorting is voor buitenaardse biologische entiteit. Dit wezen was niet menselijk. Het leger noemde het wezen Noah. NR-1 geeft een indicatie dat het leger nog andere buitenaardsen in handen hadden.

Al het materiaal en de EBE’s van de eerste crash werden naar de luchtmachtbasis van Roswell gebracht. EBE werd behandeld voor kleine verwondingen en toen naar Los Alamos gebracht, de veiligste en meest beveiligde basis ter wereld. Er werd een speciale accomodatie gemaakt voor EBE. Het materiaal werd uiteindelijk naar Dayton, Ohio gebracht, de thuishaven van de buitenaardse technologische divisie van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht.

De tweede crash werd niet eerder ontdekt dan in 1949 door een aantal boeren. Er werden op deze plaats geen levende buitenaardsen gevonden. Al het materiaal werd naar de Sandia luchtmachtbasis bij Albuquerque, New Mexico gebracht.

Dit is een interessante omdat het de locatie van hun thuisplaneet min of meer specificeert. Als het iets meer gegevens zou kunnen geven, zoals de massa van de planeet, om welke van de twee sterren hij draait of op welke afstand zoud het verhaal binnen enkele decennia debunked/getest kunnen worden (als het verhaal dan nog onveranderd de ronde doet). Voorlopig zijn er nog geen planeten gevonden in dit stelsel, maar dat zegt nog niet zo gek veel. Wel betreft het twee vrij jonge sterren met een vrij laag gehalte aan "zware" elementen, dus het leven is er dan wel wat sneller ontwikkeld dan bij ons.

Veel is er al gespeculeerd over de ervaringen van astronauten in de ruimte met buitenaardse ruimtevaartuigen. Lange tijd was er sprake van absolute geheimhouding. De laatste tijd komen steeds meer voormalig astronauten naar buiten met hun waarnemingen ten tijde van de ruimtemissies. Het lijkt echter nog niet zozeer door te dringen bij het grote publiek. Tijd om de feiten eens op een rijtje te zetten.

Majoor Gordon Cooper

Op 15 mei 1963 werd Cooper de ruimte ingeschoten om 22 banen rond de Aarde te maken. Tijdens de laatste baan liet Cooper de basis van Muchea (nabij Perth, Australië) weten dat hij een gloeiend groen object zag wat zich met hoge snelheid naar zijn capsule bewoog. De UFO was echt en werd opgepikt door de radar van Muchea.

De ervaring werd opgenomen door de National Broadcast Company, maar toen Cooper landde mocht niemand hem iets vragen over de UFO-waarneming.

Majoor Cooper getuigde voor de Verenigde Naties: “Ik geloof dat buitenaardse voertuigen en hun bemanning deze planeet bezoeken vanaf andere planeten. De meeste astronauten waren erg terughoudend in het bespreken van UFO’s.”

In een opgenomen interview met J.L. Ferrando, zegt Majoor Cooper: “Ik heb vele jaren met een geheim rondgelopen, wat opgelegd is aan alle specialisten in de ruimtevaart. Ik kan nu onthullen dat in Amerika elke dag objecten worden opgevangen door de radar die geheel onbekend zijn.”

Ed White en James McDivitt

In juni 1965 vlogen astronauten Ed White en James McDivitt over Hawaï in een Gemini-ruimteschip toen ze een vreemd uitziend metalen object zagen. McDivitt nam foto’s, maar ze zijn nooit vrijgegeven voor het publiek.

James Lovell en Frank Borman

In december 1965 zagen astronauten James Lovell en Frank Borman een UFO tijdens hun tweede baan om de Aarde gedurende een 14 daagse vlucht. Borman rapporteerde een ongeïdentificeerd ruimteschip op enige afstand van hun capsule. Gemini Control, van Cape Kennedy, zei dat het ging om hun eigen Titan aandrijfraket. Borman bevestigde de raket, maar hij zag ook iets geheel anders.

Gedurende de vlucht van Gemini 7:

Lovell: Verschijning op 10 uur.
Capcom: Dit is Houston. Zeg het nog eens 7.
Lovell: Zei dat we een verschijning hebben op 10 uur.

Jammer dat het dan zo eindigt, met een transcriptie die niet afgemaakt word. Erg handig om mensen hun aandacht te trekken en geinteresseerd te maken, niet erg logisch in een artikel dat mensen zou moeten informeren.

Verder zijn groene gloeiende objecten vaak (afketsende) meteorieten. Maar dat geheel terzijde.

Gordon Cooper heeft zelfs nog meer getuigt dan dat in het artikel staat, hij heeft onder ook getuigd over een UFO die hij zag landen op een Amerikaanse miltaire basis (zie disclosure project).
