Middle East: Hamas Joins PNA

A member of the Palestine Liberation Organization's executive committee, Hanna Amira, said Hamas has demanded to be made part of the Palestinian National Authority's decision-making process. Amira added that the inclusion of Hamas into the PNA was welcomed by fellow committee members and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. Hamas also reportedly has stated its intention to participate in the PLO delegation and will be represented by Mussa Abu Marzouq. The Islamic Jihad will be represented by Ziyad Naji.
