BANGKOK — Thailand may withdraw its troops from Iraq ahead of schedule after the United States hands over power to Iraq's transitional authority June 30, the Defense Ministry said Saturday.

Ministry spokesman Palangoon Klaharn said the Defense Ministry would review the situation in June and decide whether the 443 troops stationed in the southern city of Karbala will return home in September as planned or earlier. (Kyodo News) :D :D
