The never-ending tragedy: A Palestinian woman mourns as the body of four-year-old Asmaa Abu Kleyk is carried away for burial near Gaza City.

Kleyk died of tear-gas inhalation inside her room and another young Palestinian girl (9) died after being shot in the chest during an Israeli army incursion on Friday. These latest deaths raised the death toll to 2 964 Palestinians and 899 Israelis killed since the Palestinian uprising erupted in September 2000.
