'Vredesvloot' voor Gaza: activisten schieten met scherp !

De 'vloot' met goederen voor Gaza kreeg toegang via de geoorloofde wegen en kon in Ashdod hun lading lossen zodat de goederen naar Gaza werden gebracht.

De 'pacifisten' echter hadden andere plannen, en schoten met scherp op Israëlische soldaten. Ook hadden 'vredesactivisten', die beweerden ONGEWAPEND te zijn, messen bij zich en raakten 4 soldaten gewond, waaronder één zeer ernstig. De soldaten werden gewond door kogels en messteken.

Jammer dat er bij de Turken nu ook een dode is gevallen.

De vloot heeft het weer eens flink verpest want was:

1) een provocatie als oorlogsverklaring
2) de humanitaire hulp een excuus, want activisten hadden menselijke schilden en waren gewapend.

Monthly summary, April 2010
Although there was a slight decrease in the amount of goods delivered to the Gaza Strip in April due to the Passover holiday, the variety of the goods was expanded to include clothes and footwear and building supplies.

A marked improvement in the transfer of cooking gas through the Kerem Shalom crossing was made this month, allowing more cooking gas to be delivered on a daily basis. Flowers were exported through the crossings to the European market. Money ($13.5 million) was delivered to UNRWA for the payment of salaries. The supply of electricity and water was maintained, as usual.

Several humanitarian projects were approved:
- The rehabilitation of Al-Quds hospital (funded by France)
- The entry of medical equipment by USAID for five hospitals and medical facilities.
- The transfer of 60 containers to be used as classrooms; 20 containers were delivered to Gaza during April.

Movement permits:
- 1,519 permits were issued for medical cases - 722 patients and 797 companions - to receive treatment in Israel, the West Bank and overseas.
- 10 permits were issued for the attendance of medical seminars.
- 130 permits were issued to travel overseas.
- 12 students with scholarships traveled to Spain and Turkey.
- 84 businessmen exited the Gaza Strip.

Infrastructures:
- Two truckloads of communications equipment, including 46 generators were delivered to the Palestinian Telecommunication Company and Jawal.
- Six truckloads of electricity equipment, including 49 transformers, were delivered to the Palestinian Energy Authority.
- 21 truckloads of equipment for the Palestinian Water Authority were coordinated, including 9 generators, spare parts and PVC pipes.
- Over 5 million liters (5,278,798) of heavy diesel fuel for the power station were transferred. The production of electricity by the Gaza power station was reduced due to internal issues between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas regarding funding.

Commercial goods crossings:
- 2,405 truckloads of goods entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom and Karni crossings, including:
- 158 truckloads of clothes and footwear;
- 34 truckloads of glass, 23 truckloads of aluminum profiles and 27 truckloads of wood profiles.
- 5,278,798 liters of heavy diesel fuel for the power station, 99,500 liters of regular diesel for transportation, and 19,980 liters of gasoline were transferred.
- 3,232 tons of cooking gas were delivered.
- 293,796 liters of diesel fuel and 44,704 liters of gasoline were transferred to UNRWA.

Lastig hé, een andere kijk op de zaak. Hierbij in het kort de mijne:

De 'vloot' had nooit humanitaire doeleinden.

1/ Beweren een blokkade te omzeilen om 10.000 kilo goederen te leveren terwijl er wekelijks 15 000 ton wordt doorgelaten is niet echt serieus

2/ Wanneer de organisatoren voorgesteld wordt hun materiaal te lossen in de haven van Ashdod om de goederen dan op reguliere wijze te leveren, weigeren ze dit. Dit bewijst nogmaals dat hun eerste doel niet het leveren van goederen was.

3/ Wanneer de organisatoren verzocht wordt om als uitwisseling voor de levering eveneens een humanitair bezoek te brengen aan de sinds 4 jaar gegijzelde soldaat Gilad Shalit, wordt dit eveneens geweigerd. Ook hier is een humanitaire opzet afwezig.

4/ Hoe kan men goedpraten dat de vredesactivisten gewapend waren met vuurwapens, messen en ijzeren staven, en kleine kinderen als menselijk schild gebruikten om zich af te weren tegen een entering?

Op deze blog ziet men hoe Turken op barbaarse wijze de Israelische ambassade bestormen.

In dezelfde cultuur krijgen we in Brussel en Antwerpen kunnen we straks ook vredesacties verwachten zoals in december 2008: ingeslagen ruiten, auto's in brand, omvergeworpen auto's, straatstenen losgemaakt en door winkels geworpen..

De gewapende 'vredesactivisten' schenen bekend te zijn als Hamas-AlQaeda-vriendjes.

Geen wonder dat ze 1) wapens hadden en 2) babies en kinderen als menselijk schild op de boot hadden.

Als het allemaal zo proper was wat de 'vredesactivisten' wilden leveren, waarom weigeren dat de inhoud van hun 'humanitaire' goederen zou worden gecontroleerd? Bang dat een arsenaal aan 'vredesmateriaal' zou worden ontdekt?

Wist je trouwens dat de harde kern van de 'vredesactivisten' bekend stonden als Hamas en Al Qaeda vriendjes?
