In het Libië-conflict blijken diverse partijen er ook verschillende agenda's op na te houden.
In ieder geval is Israël niet blij met de huidige gang van zaken en zeker ten aanzien van Ghadaffi heeft het Israëlische Gouvernement een andere kijk op de zaken dan die van hun supersponsor en de EU.
Uit een bepaalde bron hoorde ik iets klinken dat er op wijst dat Israël er kennelijk een andere strategie op na houdt:

The fall of Gaddafi would open the door for an Islamic regime in Libya, according to speculation. In a meeting on February 18, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defence Minister Barak and Foreign Minister Lieberman decided to recruit African mercenaries to fight alongside Gaddafi, according to the journalist. During the meeting, they decided to let General Israel Ziv, the director of security firm Global CST, which is active in many African countries, to make a group of paramilitary mercenaries from Guinea, Nigeria, Central Africa, Mali, Senegal,Darfur and Southern Sudan available to Abdullah Assinousi, one of the heads of Libya's intelligence agency.

Helemaal uit de lucht gegrepen is dat verhaal van die Afrikaanse strijders niet. Het zijn de bekende "huurlingen" die ditmaal via Israëlische kanalen worden geronseld. Een nieuw uitzendbureau voor soldiers of fortune houdt zich dus bezig met dit soort activiteiten.
