What a moving story, especially when the U.S. media is always telling us how "everyone" in the world hates us -- I guess Tycho fits in this category. Well, there's hundreds of millions of people here, and if you came to visit I'm sure that you would find that some of us are actually quite nice.

im not a fan of the yanks - Tycho, Holland, United Kingdom, 13/12/2012 8:21 In a touching story about a boy w/cancer having a dream come true you just had to write something nasty? And then you have the nerve to judge others?! Incredible...

Very, very nice. And a nice Story, MailOnline! I've always had a soft spot for our Military boys--all branches--but especially the grunts on the ground...gee, I wonder why?

What a great story. Looks like he really enjoyed the experience. Well done to the US Army and the charity for arranging this for the young man.

I'm actually amazed sometimes..the US is not even a full 5% of the world pop, yet the influence is un-ending. go figure.

im not a fan of the yanks but that is very cool and very sweet of them - Tycho , Holland, United Kingdom, 13/12/2012 13:21 and to add....should now 350million people, not be a fan of anyone from Holland? Must be nice to know your 'kids' wont go to war, because you have big brothers protection..OR you can spend all your tax dollars on quality of life issues, rather than protecting the west. and don't be a fool, your gov't loves it.
