Er worden bijna wekelijks bom-aanslagen verijdeld in Kiev, Odessa en andere grote steden, door (pro-) russen met russisch materiaal en training.

Deze keer is het eens gelukt en krijgt het daardoor enige media-aandacht in de rest van de wereld, maar het is dus een aktief onderdeel van de russische oorlog tegen oekraiene : continue terroristische aanslagen en pogingen daartoe in het hele land.
