Zoals verwacht pakken de terroristen hun koffers. De Russen zetten zelfs bunkerbusters in en er vliegen her en der drones rond. Alle verdachte zaken worden aangepakt. Tijd om het arena in te wisselen voor Europa, daar kunnen ze nog gerust op straat lopen met hun zwarte vlag. Maar in Syrië zal dat spoedig tot het verleden behoren.

"Starting from September 30, the Russian aviation has performed over 60 sorties on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic to engage over 50 ‪#‎ISIS‬ infrastructural objects. These are command centres, explosives and ammunition depots, communications, mini-plants aimed for production armament for terrorist attacks, training camps of militants.

The strikes have been performed 24 hours a day from the ‪#‎Hmeymim‬ airbase at the full depth of the Syrian territory. It is to be underlined that these efforts resulted in destruction of material and technical basis of terrorists and considerably reduced their combat potential.

Intelligence says that militants are leaving controlled areas. Panic and desertion started among them. About 600 mercenaries have left their positions and are trying to flee to Europe.

Thus, the Russian air strikes will not only be continued; their intensiveness will be increased.

It is to be mentioned that we have issued notification concerning the start of air operation against ISIS beforehand.

In the morning, on September 30, the American military attaché in Iraq for security Colonel Hadi Petro was one of the first to be notified by General ‪#‎Kuralenko‬.

Moreover, the foreign colleagues were informed through channels of both Russian Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and were recommended to withdraw all instructors and advisers as well as those people who had been trained with American taxpayers’ money.

It was also recommended to stop flights of aerial vehicles in the action area of the Russian aviation.

By the way, American experts informed us that there was nobody but terrorists in the district.

It is to be reminded that International information centre of Coordination committee has started its work. Everybody who is interested in countering ISIS terrorists have been invited to participate in its work. One of its missions is coordination of actions and any other incidents.

We have openly called for sharing all the useful information concerning the ISIS facilities on the territory of Syria.

It is to be recognized that today this information is received only from colleagues from Iran, Iraq and Syria.

We are open for dialogue with all the interested countries.

We will welcome all the meaningful contributions to this work."

ERBIL – The radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) has arrested some eight militants who were trying to desert the group and flee to Turkey, activists in the eastern Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor reported on Thursday.

“The militants were arrested in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor before escaping the province,” media activist Muhammad al-Shami told ARA News.

“After interrogations, the Islamic State discovered the suspects’ plan to leave the group and cross into Turkey,” al-Shami quoted an ISIS official as saying.

Five of the arrested militants were reportedly Moroccans and the three others were Tunisians who had joined the ranks of ISIS nearly one year ago.

The source reported a state of alert among ISIS militants in Deir ez-Zor following the incident.

“ISIS has closed all exists of Deir ez-Zor and imposed a curfew on the cities and towns of the province after receiving information about a similar attempt by another group of its militants,” al-Shammi told ARA News.

The ISIS-linked Sharia Court is expected to issue a decision regarding the arrestees next week, as the interrogations continue on the case.

Dozens of ISIS members had deserted the group and crossed into Turkey in the past few months. Most of them were foreign nationals who had lately recognized the brutality of the alleged caliphate towards Muslim citizens in Syrian and Iraq.

By ridding Kurdish boots on the ground and replacing them with CIA-vetted “moderate”rebels that end up defecting to Al Qaeda affiliates with US weapons, the Pentagon has suspended its train and equip program.

The problem with US strategy is that it sees trees and not the forest. US has separate anti-ISIS, anti-Al Qaeda, anti-Taliban strategies that neutralize each other—fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan yet supporting them in Syria against ISIS, which was Al Qaeda in Iraq. Distracted by an alphabet soup of various salafist jihadi groups (ISIS, JN, AQI, AQIM, etc.) Washington becomes blindsided to the fact that ultimately they share the same end state of establishing a global caliphate under Shaira, only differing in the means and speed of that goal.

Caliph Al Baghdadi understands this and is now uniting the different tribes (terrorist groups) as wilayat (provinces) spread throughout the greater Middle East—from Boko Harm in Nigeria to factions of Taliban in Pakistan.

Without infantry, Obama-led coalition is ineffective to counter the growth of ISIS as various Islamic extremists groups continue to merge under the ISIS flag. In light of this, obtaining a UN mandate to release Chinese and other international troops under UN flag, or hybrid multinational force including EU, SCO and other partners in a truly global coalition to combat terrorism, should be a welcomed move for all.

Uiteraard heeft Israël geen problemen om dit nu bekend te maken, want niet zij maar de VS heeft gefaald en Israël is als de dood voor de Iraanse strijdkrachten op Syrisch grondgebied en een sterke Assad in het zadel. Ze eisen in feite dat een internationale coalatie grondtroepen levert gezien de huidige ontwikkelingen de belangen van het Heilige Land schaden.

The United States spent a whole year bombing the desert instead of hitting terrorist targets in Syria, the head of the Russian parliament’s international affairs committee wrote on Friday.

“[Senator John] McCain accused us of striking out at US-trained insurgents… However, since they have either run away or joined al-Qaeda, hitting them is a mission impossible,” Alexei Pushkov wrote on his Twitter account.

Russian Military Will Determine Length of Operations in Syria
In an interview with France’s Europe 1 Radio Pushkov said that the Russian aerial campaign in Syria would take three to four months.

“The US-led coalition spent a whole year pretending they were striking ISIL targets but where are the results of these strikes?” Pushkov wondered.

The White House had earlier said that the Russian air forces was targeting areas in Syria where ISIL militants were nowhere in sight.

Bush, who holds the No. 6 in the latest Washington Examiner presidential power rankings, has previously blamed the rise of Islamic State on President Obama's decision to remove U.S. combat troops from Iraq in 2011. The Florida Republican called for a no-fly zone over Syria and the ousting of Syrian President Bashar Assad months ago during a foreign policy address at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.

He added Wednesday that sanctions against Russia "ought to be on the table" and the U.S. ought to engage our European allies, namely France and Germany who "both have said they're prepared to engage militarily as it relates to ISIS."

"This president doesn't believe that we need a strategy as it relates to ISIS or Assad," Bush said. "He believes that we should pull back, and the void has made it worse."

"If you look at Riyadh or Turkey looking at what's going on, they're saying the U.S. is not a reliable partner. This is all just doing a victory dance around President Obama and I think he should stand up and say this is still the strongest country in the world, we still have the strongest military," he continued.

Asked whether the U.S. should participate in discussions with Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the former governor said not "if [Russia's] objective is to prop up the Assad regime."

"We don't want to go back to the days when, you know, Russia and Israel were in an adversarial position," said Netanyahu, who met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow late last month. "I think we've changed the relationship. And it's, on the whole, good."

Assad also is backed by Iran, Israel's ardent foe and supporter of Hezbollah, and Israel is concerned that Russian weapons being deployed in Syria could end up with the militant group.

"I went to Moscow to make it clear that we should avoid a clash between Russian forces and Israeli forces," Netanyahu said.

"In Syria, I've defined my goals. They're to protect the security of my people and my country. Russia has different goals. But they shouldn't clash."

He said Israel and Russia would talk soon about the situation.

Asked if Russia's entry in the Syrian conflict would be destabilizing, Netanyahu said: "I don't know. I think time will tell."
