Syrië : het Syrische luchtruim en het internationaal recht

Het moge duidelijk zijn dat er zich in het Syrische luchtruim een aantal toestellen bevinden die daar niet moeten zijn.

Net als er, heel toevallig, net in die gebieden waar de terroristen opereren juist veel buitenlandse toestellen aanwezig zijn.

Wat een toeval.

Zolang de terroristen doen wat van het verwacht wordt wordt hen geen strobreed in de weg gelegd.

Volgens het internationale recht mogen deze toestellen het Syrische luchtruim niet betreden en heeft Syrië het recht deze schendingen van haar luchtruim op gepaste wijze te beantwoorden.

Russische BUK systemen worden op dit ogenblik naar Syrië gebracht.

Turkije wil een zone creëren op het grondgebied van Syrië waar het de hand vrij heeft. Dit is onmogelijk zonder het luchtruim ter plaatse te controleren, waardoor impliciet het luchtruim van Syrië geschonden wordt. Dit is verboden volgens het internationaal recht.

Turkije wil een zone creëren op het grondgebied van Syrië waar het de hand vrij heeft.

Hopend een zone te creëren waar de jihadis niet kunnen lastig gevallen worden door de Russische luchtmacht en troepen van Assad en bondgenoten. Komt neer op een poging Syrië op te delen. Een mini kalifaat waar men dan waarschijnlijk vluchtelingen in wil onderbrengen als een soort van levend schild.

Lijkt alsof de VS coalitie deze oorlog wil laten aanslepen. Wie zou daar bij gebaat zijn?

-- Near Hawl, five strikes struck four separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed five ISIL fighting positions and an ISIL vehicle.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, one strike struck an ISIL gas and oil separation plant.

Strikes in Iraq

Bomber, fighter, and attack aircraft conducted 11 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government:

-- Near Albu Hayat, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed two ISIL fighting positions.

-- Near Kisik, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL fighting position and suppressed another fighting position.

-- Near Mosul, one strike suppressed an ISIL mortar position.

-- Near Ramadi, two strikes destroyed an ISIL heavy machine gun, an ISIL weapons cache, an ISIL building, an ISIL vehicle, and an ISIL fighting position.

-- Near Sinjar, four strikes destroyed two ISIL command and control nodes, 12 ISIL fighting positions, and suppressed an ISIL rocket position.

De minister van BuZ van Syrië schrijft een brief naar de secretaris-generaal van de VN, de Zuid-Koreaan Ban Ki-Moon.
De luchtaanvallen die VS uitvoert in Syrië worden in de brief omschreven als illegaal.
Er is geen toelating van de autoriteiten in Damascus.
En de doelwitten die geviseerd worden vernietigen de industriële basis van de Syrische economie.
