Ge ziet toch dat de auto in de flank aangereden werd, en zelfs in de tekst van jouw link staat dat het autonoomrijdende voertuig onschuldig was aan het ongeval. Fysieke wetten gaan niet verminderen door autonome autos hoor. En al zeker niet als er bestuurders niet opletten en voorrang negeren, dit in normale wagens. Of werd het autonoom voertuig aangereden door een autonoom voertuig? Nope.

En als je nu wat recenter ggl had was het zelfs iemand die door het rood licht reed die op die "autonome" Ford inbeukte.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a box truck ran a red light about 10 a.m. at the 16th and Progress streets in Pittsburgh’s North Side and smashed into an Argo AI self-driving car with four people inside. Two of the four passengers in the Argo AI car were injured and taken to the hospital in stable conditions.
Alan Hall, a communications manager for Ford, who handles public relations on behalf of Argo AI, stated, “we’re aware that an Argo AI test vehicle was involved in an accident. We’re gathering all the information. Our initial focus is on making sure that everyone involved is safe.”
Hall offered limited information on whether the car was in self-driving mode during the accident, and or if the Argo AI fleet has been suspended.

Uw titel is dus verkeerd Paul, is gewoon een roodlicht-negatie waaruit een flankbotsing volgde. Alledaags "bij blinden en verstrooiden" in het verkeer, net dat wil men oplossen door beproefde en rijpe autonome wagentechniek. Dat zal dus nooit zonder botsingen kunnen als die zich in normaal verkeer begeven. Vroeg of laat is het eens prijs. En moest ooit een autonome wagen fout zijn dan leren ze eruit. |
