Theo Francken geeft tienduizend euro aan levensreddend materiaal
De behandeling van medische noodgevallen aan het oorlogsfront is een vak apart. Net zoals in de spoedafdeling van een ziekenhuis is elke seconde belangrijk. Maar er is de bijkomende moeilijkheid dat ondertussen de kogels rond je oren fluiten.
Een techniek die daarbij het verschil kan maken tussen leven en dood is intraossale infusie: je schiet een naald in het bot van de patiënt om vloeistoffen toe te dienen in het beenmerg.
Theo Francken heeft tienduizend euro uit eigen zak betaald voor de levering van intraossale toestellen aan Oekraïne.
