Het lager Duitse Gerecht zal beslissen of deze uitspraak van Hamas nu een oproep tot genocide is of niet. Wat er ook beslist wordt kan uitdraaien op een positief punt voor Israël, deze kan de term dan ook gebruiken zonder gezever over genocide en bla bla.

A Berlin court is expected to rule on the case of a pro-Palestinian activist who called out the divisive slogan “from the river to the sea” at a rally, in what supporters say is an important test case for Germany.

The trial before a district court of a German woman with Iranian heritage, identified only as Ava M, is one of several since the 7 October Hamas attacks in Israel and the destruction of Gaza that have examined Germany’s limits on free speech.

The defendant, 22, is accused of “condoning the assault by Hamas” by using the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” during a protest on 11 October near the Sonnenallee boulevard in the capital’s diverse Neukölln district.

Condoning a crime can meet with a prison sentence of up to three years or a fine.

Ava M’s legal team said the slogan must be seen as a “central expression of the global Palestine solidarity movement” and that pro-Palestinian activists were resisting attempts to criminalise it.

Een 22-jarige Duits-Iraanse demonstrante had drie jaar celstraf kunnen krijgen, maar een rechter in Berlijn oordeelde dinsdag dat een boete van 600 euro voldoende was. De vrouw had vorig jaar in oktober tijdens een pro-Palestijnse betoging “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” geroepen. Dat doe je beter niet in Duitsland.

Er is nog zoiets als de "Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens" (Verenigde Naties, 10 december 1948), zie artikel 19.

"Eenieder heeft recht op vrijheid van mening en van uiting van zijn mening, wat het recht insluit niet verontrust te worden omwille van zijn meningen en het recht door om het even welk uitdrukkingsmiddel en, zonder inachtneming van grenzen, inlichtingen en ideeën op te zoeken, te ontvangen en te verspreiden."

...Maar Duitsland is natuurlijk geen democratie!

WTF het huidige Duitsland is eerder te democratisch, daardoor slaan ze internationaal een modderfiguur, ze zijn slechter instaat een verenigd front te vormen dan Frankrijk of het VK.

Zo'n quote is erg makkelijk, zelfs shoppen, de grenzen van rechten worden bereikt, wanneer ze conflicteren met andere rechten.
