Wie zouden de valse profeten en de rijzende koningen zijn?

In 1990 won Unite Europe, nu is er een groepje monsters dat het publiek een teken van herkenning geeft. Sombere vooruitzichten?

Het mag dan een show-fesitival zijn ipv een songfesitival, ik vind het toch boeiend om te zien wat er leeft (ze hebben gewonnen met voorsprong).

Heeft in mijn ogen weinig met satanisme te maken, eerder met een courante metal scene. Doet me denken aan groepen als Iron Maiden en Manowar, wat de teksten betreft. Verder niets aan de hand. Gewoon hersenen uit je hoofd headbangen, als je dat leuk vindt.

Lijkt me een heel gewone tekst, ik heb er vroeger in mijn metalperiode véééél ergere gezien dat dit.

Ik vind zo'n teksten goed, op het randje van rotslecht. Maar dan wel GOED slecht. Is een glijmiddel van de duivel om de normvervaging aan te wakkeren en te verheerlijken. En diegenen die het doorhebben zijn bijbelbijters, en die maken het ongeloofwaardig. :twisted:

Wat wel opviel:

De Noord- en West-Europeanen gaven meer punten dan de Zuid- en Oost-Europeanen.

De eerste twee groepen zijn ook het welvarendst en het minst gelovig.

Het lied is ook eens iets nieuws, een frisse wind uit het noorden zeg maar.

"You will see the jokers soon’ll be the new kings";niet satanistisch, gewoon grappig.
