Stewardess mag geen bijbel meenemen

"LONDEN - Een stewardess van de Britse vliegmaatschappij bmi is van plan om naar de rechter te stappen, omdat ze van haar werkgever geen bijbel mag meenemen op vluchten naar Saudi-Arabië. De vrouw zei dat ze vanwege haar geloofsovertuiging wordt gediscrimineerd, aldus The Daily Telegraph woensdag.

Bmi ontkende echter dat sprake is van discriminatie. De vliegmaatschappij liet weten dat ze de richtlijnen van het Britse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken volgt. Een woordvoerder van bmi zei dat Saudische autoriteiten bijbels die het land binnenkomen in beslag nemen."

Godsdienstvrijheid? Niet bij de (echte) Moslims dus. Het moet maar eens gedaan zijn om dit fabeltje te blijven geloven.

Wij zijn veel te goed en te gastvrij voor die lui...punt uit.

Dat de Saudische autoriteiten discrimineren op basis van geloof wisten we al lang en een van de manieren waarop ze dit doen is door het verbieden van enkele heilige boeken. De vlucht van Jamma dateert al van de periode tussen kerst en nieuwjaar vorig jaar, aldus nog de Times. Op het ogenblik van zijn vlucht was hij een van de meest gezochte mannen in Groot-Brittannië en had hij 21 veroordelingen op zijn

Saudi-Arabië is werkelijk het summum van verdraagzaamheid. Daarom ook dat er bij ons 0110 concerten moeten zijn en daar blijkbaar niet :
