Muhammad ("The Commissar") A prophet of the Islamic collective's interrogative morality
The imperial "Commissar" is a character whose word is immutable law and
whose wrath is as fatal to a subordinate soldier as an attack from an enemy. Muhammad ("The Commissar") adds another meaning to the term that can be sensed in the Islamic world; namely interrogation (i.e. asking questions that the person being questioned considers personal or secret.) If you were a tourist to Egypt, you probably have encountered this behavior ranging from its mildest form of friendly curiosity among the Egyptians who want to know about your religion, place of origin or marital status to its severest form if you happened to be detained for interrogation on account of any suspicion. If you were in Canada, like me, you might encounter it from a Muslim taxi driver who is curious to know if you were a Muslim or not. If one were a Palestinian suspected of being a friend with Israel, the result of the interrogation is usually fatal. For ordinary citizens of the Islamic world, personal IDs have to state the person's religion (which is a selection from a list that has to be approved by the Islamic muftis) [Say: "O People of the Book! Do you disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah and the revelation that has come to us and that which came before us and perhaps that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"] Quran Surah 5:59 Yes, people of the Book disapprove of the message of Muhammad because they believe it is very spiritually harmful to any child who learns it and because they care for Muslims (as children of God) to not be deceived by the Satan of existential fears and revenge that took hold of Muhammad. The interrogative morality of Muhammad persisted in the Arab world until today in both its secular and Quranic segments. If one were to say that Islam is not a message from God yet bless Muslims to stress one's good intentions towards Muslims, one would still get the trained Muslim seals who dash at you that you are "feigning" good will, because Muhammad has made it a teaching that whoever fights against Islam is an enemy of Allah (and an enemy of Allah in the Quran is the equivalent of livestock who deserves the curses of the people and the angels). The wrath of rejecting or fighting Muhammad is worth than the wrath of "The Imperial Commissar" in fiction novels. The collective nature of Islam has left its imprint on the cultural formation of Islamic countries such as the individual is often the target of interrogation. This Commissar-style of interrogative morality has become the curse of the Arab secular world, as our Canadian citizen "Maher Arar" discovered on the hands of his Syrian secular Muslim brothers. We (the Canadian tax payers) had to pay some 10 million dollars in compensation and legal fees because of the actions of a secular Muslim state. Will that become an industry for Muslims claiming being tortured in those so called "secular" Islamic countries, where they used to be tortured for free but now they can win the jackpot from any western Country on its account?
