Zelfs communisten gebruikten de swastika
Op het internet vind je de raarste dingen.
Ik wist dat Hindoes, Boedhisten, vikings en tal van andere culturen doorheen de geschiedenis de swastika gebruikten als symbool voor de zon en al wat positief was op deze aarde. Ik wist dat de Swastika zelfs een 100 jaar geleden nog gebruikt werd door auteurs als Rudyard Kipling.
Wat ik niet wist, was dat ook de communisten de swastika gebruikt hebben in het verleden :

It was worn as a shoulder patch by some Soviet troops. The Swastika too was a socialist symbol long before Hitler became influential. Prewar socialists (including some American socialists) used it on the grounds that it has two arms representing two entwined letters "S" (for "Socialist"). So even Hitler's symbolism was Leftist.
