Links en het Midden-Oosten
 

Zijn er daar linkse bewegingen, wat zijn hun standpunten, wat doen ze, met wie werken ze samen en hoe interpreteren de linksen hier de gebeurtenissen daar?
Dezer dagen is het Midden-Oosten eens te meer een actueel thema, met veel ongenuanceerde informatie in de traditionele media, daarom deze topic.

It was the 123th Friday demonstration against the separation fence in Bil'in - see previous weekly reports. As usual, Palestinians, internationals and Israelis of anarchists against the wall initiative marched marched from the center of the village on the road leading to the route of the separation fence used to rob more than half the lands of the village. As usual the last two months, when we approached the hill the gate in the separation fence is at its top, the state forces intercepted us at the foot of the hill. This time, when we arrived there, we heard the orders and threats of the state force forbidding us crossing a barbed wire spool lied on the road. This time they shoot only two tear gas canister as a treat, but let us converge near the road block. We stayed there for about 10 minutes while a comrade gave a speech directed to the state force. Then we started to cross the forbidden line and got in response lot of tear gas. When few of us reached the state force half way up the hill, they detained two of the Israelis (who were set free at the end of the demo) and dispersed the rest of us.

Like previous demonstrations we tried to converge after driven away by the shower of tear gas and approach the route of the separation fence again and from other directions... but the shower of tear gas canisters was too intense and the wind was on their side...So, after an hour and a half we left the battle field to the stone throwers who started to do their thing after the nonviolent demonstrators dispersed. In response the state forces added to the tear gas shooting with rubber coated bullets that injured few of the stone throwers.

Ik heb geen links, maar ik weet wel dat 'anarchists against the wall' actief zijn in Israel.

Op de site van de PVDA bij links vind je veel verwijzingen naar communistische organisaties van over heel de wereld.

Er zijn ook in Vlaanderen alternatieve nieuwsbronnen over het Midden-Oosten hoor, of organisaties die actief zijn rond het Midden-Oosten. Het nieuws dat zij brengen is een goeie aanvulling op hetgeen je leest in de traditionele media.

Het nieuws dat deze alternatieve media brengen, is trouwens vaak gebaseerd op artikels van analisten ter plaatse.

Waar komt deze link vandaan... Wel interessant vind ik.

Solidair linkt naar een interview op die site, ben dan eens verder gaan kijken wat er zoal op stond

Uitpers: www.uitpers.beEr is sinds enkele jaren het webzine Uitpers (zie ook mijn handtekening), dat veel aandacht geeft aan de situatie in het Midden-Oosten.

Vrede vzw www.vrede.be : De website van Vrede vzw, waarop je regelmatig interessante artikels terugvindt over het Midden-Oosten.

Actieplatform Palestina: www.actieplatformpalestina.be: Zoals de naam zelf zegt: Een koepel van allerhande organisaties die in Vlaanderen actief zijn rond de Israëlisch-Palestijnse kwestie. Op de website vindt je heel wat analyses en interessante dossiers. Je vindt er ook de links naar de deelorganisaties, die vaak ook actief zijn rond andere landen in het Midden-Oosten.

Als je bovenaan de startpagina LINKS aanklikt, krijg je nog een hele lijst met links voorgeschoteld naar websites van Israëlische en Palestijnse vredesorganisaties, plaatselijke NGO's, internationale media, mensenrechtenorganisaties, enzovoort.

Verder zijn er nog interessante (geschreven) tijdschriften maar ik neem aan dat je hiermee al een eind op weg komt.

Amai, dat soort standpunten ben ik van de PVDA alleszins niet gewend - normaal zijn zij altijd zo'n voorstanders van het palestijns nationalisme/separatisme...

BTW, ik vind het bewuste artikel met link wel niet meer terug...

Als je op Solidair klikt in mijn vorige bericht, kom je bij het artikel waar vanonder een verwijzing staat naar die site. Maar de PVDA linkt naar een interview, niet naar het artikel dat ik hier postte, dat heeft dus niets met hun partijstandpunt van doen (wat een geïnterviewde op hun site of in Solidair zegt trouwens ook niet persé.) Wat niet wegneemt dat het PFLP (waar de PVDA naar ik dacht toch sympathie voor heeft) ook de 2-statenoplossing afzweert (of afzweerde?).
