Citaat:
Tanger Med is a Moroccan industrial port complex,[2] located 45 km northeast of Tangier and opposite of Tarifa, Spain (15 km north) on the Strait of Gibraltar, with handling capacities of 9 million containers, one of the largest industrial ports in the world, and the largest port in Africa[3] and the Mediterranean Sea.[4] 7 million passengers, 700,000 trucks and the export of 1 million vehicles.[5]

Tanger Med also consists of an industrial platform for 1100 companies representing an annual export business volume in 2020 of 8000 million EUR,[6] operating in various sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, food processing, logistics and textiles.[7][8]

The New York Times reports that Russia is using the Tanger Med port to bypass trade restrictions established after the start of their war on Ukraine.[9]
Dan heb je nog de havens van Durban (Zuid-Afrika) en Port Said (Egypte)
Citaat:
The Port of Durban, commonly called Durban Harbour, is the largest and busiest shipping terminal in sub-Saharan Africa.[2] It handles up to 31.4 million tons of cargo each year.[3] It is the fourth largest container terminal in the Southern Hemisphere, handling approximately 4.5 million TEU in 2019.[4][5]
Citaat:
The port of Port Said is the 28th-busiest seaport for container transport, the second-busiest in the Arab world (narrowly behind the port of Salalah in Oman), and the busiest container seaport in Egypt, with 3,470,000 TEU transported in 2009.[22] The port is part of the Maritime Silk Road.[23][24] It is divided into:

Port Said Port
East Port Said Port

The port is bordered, seaward, by an imaginary line from the western breakwater boundary till the eastern breakwater end. And from the Suez Canal area, it is bordered by an imaginary line extending transversely from the southern bank of the Canal connected to Manzala Lake, and the railways arcade livestock.
