Als ik dat poog te resumeren;

Dat zijn toch geen equivalente "oplossingen" voor eenzelfde probleem?
Zonnepanelen op een voertuig versus een elektrisch laadstation voor voertuigen zonder.
Het is toch duidelijk dat bij het eerste (hier geclaimd Russische idee) er totale autonomie is - de drone moet nergens naartoe (=elektriek verbruiken) om bij te laden - die kan dat overal waar zonlicht reikt, incluis tijdens het vliegen.
Een nadeel: gewicht van zonnepaneel en laadelektronica.
Een snelle "weight solar panels drone" opzoeking levert als 3de resultaat een verhouding zonnepanelen/totaalgewicht drone van 1/400ste. Dat is dus flut en bijgevolg quasi geen impact op bereik drones (in tegenstelling tot bvb de kabelhaspel van draadsturing).
Terwijl de tweede (hier geclaimd Oekrains idee) vereist dat de drone ergens naar een "centrale" plek (=de hub) vliegt, en dus gebonden is daar in de buurt van te blijven. En ze beweren dat ze die centrale plek camoufleren, halloooo, zonnepanelen camoufleren?
Toch stel je beide "oplossingen" voor als gelijkwaardig.. euhm?

The report which aired on Sunday shows a vast drone manufacturing facility in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan Region, more than 1,200km from the front line.
The plant focuses on producing Geran drones, described by Zvezda as “simple, cheap, and... mass-produced,” and highly accurate. Footage from the facility shows long rows of Geran airframes slightly taller than the height of an average person.
Timur Shagivaleev, the general director of Alabuga, said the current output has far exceeded initial expectations. “At one time there was a plan to produce several thousand Gerans. Right now, we are producing nine times more than the original plan,” he stated, without specifying the timeframe.
Most of the workforce at the plant are young people, many of whom come from a nearby college, which was set up by those who organized the Geran production, according to the report.
Zvezda said the plant was built from the ground up within the Alabuga economic zone. Before the escalation of the Ukraine conflict, it focused on attracting international technology and building import-substitution capabilities.

Russia’s defence sector has since mid-2022 considerably expanded its capacity to produce single use attack drones, after first establishing this capability with Iranian support to manufacture the Shahed 136 under license. In May The Economist revealed that output of Shahed 136 drones had increased more than tenfold from 300 a month, to over 100 per day, with Russian industry remaining on track to be able to produce up to 500 of the aircraft per day. This would allow for strikes using over 1000 of the aircraft to be launched several times per week. Successful expansion of drone production mirrors the efforts made across multiple areas of the defence sector to increase output to several times pre-2022 levels, with annual output of Iskander-M ballistic missile systems and Kh-101 cruise missiles today being several times as high as they were three years ago, while production of Su-34 strike fighters has more than doubled, and output of T-90M tanks has tripled.

... dat er in Rusland tekort is aan technisch personeel en dat Noord Koreaans, dat wèl technisch mee evolueerde, dat gat zouden vullen.
... dat eerder tegenstrijdig is met andere berichtgeving, bvb beweren dat Rusland technische knowhow exporteert (als betalingswijze) naar Noord Korea.
Het lijkt me eerder dat het op vlak van productie opschalen door meer mankracht is, dan op vlak van expertise.
