Schiet men wakker en wil men de mensen tot 67 jaar laten werken.
Hier haalt bijna niemand de 55 jaar.

New German government to propose raising retirement age

Germany's future coalition government of conservatives and Social Democrats aims to raise the retirement age, SPD leader Franz Muentefering said.
He said talks to establish a programme for the new government produced agreement on a proposal to lift the retirement age to 67, compared with the current 65.
"We will include the fact that we consider that to be the likely target age in our agreement on a coalition government," Muentefering said.
Sources said earlier that the retirement age would be raised by one month every year from 2011 until it reached the new target in 2035.
Muentefering said it would still be possible for Germans to retire before the target age but that only those who worked until the age of 67 would receive full benefits.
He added that a final decision on the measure was not to be expected before 2007 or 2008.
Raising the retirement age would be the first of a series of measures to ease the burden on state retirement funds, which are under threat from an ageing population and Germany's birthrate, which is among the lowest in western Europe.
A government-backed panel headed by economic advisor Bert Ruerup strongly backed raising the retirement age in 2003.
