Aliens lijken dus inderdaad te bestaan en wel vrij dichtbij.

Toch wel een uitdaging voor de scenaristen om de aliens een krachtige rol (de dreiging!) te geven in de ettelijke filmprojecten die nu toch wel zullen uit de grond schieten.
Zo'n bacterie kan niet al te veel tekst aan lijkt me. En omineus kijken zit er ook al niet echt in. Bummer!

De waarheid over aliens zal heel druppelsgewijs aan het publiek verspreid worden, verspreid over vele jaren dat zelfs enkele decennia kan in beslag nemen, om het publieke bewustzijn er geleidelijk aan te laten wennen en geen landslides te veroorzaken in de maatschappij op sociaal, militair, religieus en economisch vlak.

In sommige kringen is al heel goed geweten dat er verschillende andere intelligente levensvormen bestaan.

Ziehier een originele brief uit de jaren 50 van iemand die gelieerd was aan het militair industrieel complex:

By Gerald Light in a letter dated April 16, 1954 to Meade Layne, "My dear friends: I have just returned from Muroc Edwards Air Force Base. The report is true -- devastatingly true! I made the journey in company with Franklin Allen of the Hearst papers and Edwin Nourse of Brookings Institute (Truman's erstwhile financial advisor) and Bishop MacIntyre of L.A. (confidential names for the present, please). When we were allowed to enter the restricted section (after about six hours in which we were checked on every possible item, event, incident and aspect of our personal and public lives), I had the distinct feeling that the world had come to an end with fantastic realism. For I have never seen so many human beings in a state of complete collapse and confusion, as they realized that their own world had indeed ended with such finality as to beggar description.

From what I could gather, an official statement to the country is being prepared for delivery about the middle of May."
