Obama was the banker's choice (after Romney anyway) and in almost all of his policies, he is in fact a Republican.

Obamacare was modeled based on Romneycare.

Obamacare uses the "individual mandate", which was conceived by Newt Gingrich when Hillary Clinton first pushed for socialized health care in the mid 90s.

Foreign policy is another example of how Obama copied the post-9/11 foreign policy of Neo-Conservatives.
