De 'Skeptics handbook', dat schept toch enige verwachtingen - vooral als het on-line kan gedownload worden pdf.

Wat een koude douche om vast te stellen dat haar 'boek' amper 16 blz. telt en vol cartoons staat als 'page filler'. Sorry - weer eentje om niet serieus te nemen.

Je zou beter het filmpje-interview van 43 minuten van 2013 eens bekijken daar geeft ze toe dat haar "boek van toen 2009 " veel beter kan, en dat ze nu zeker bepaalde zaken totaal anders zou beschrijven (wslk ook uitvoeriger).
Soit, het filmpje bekijken kost 43 minuten van uw tijd.

In dat interview zegt ze trouwens dat ze terug opnieuw van mening kan veranderen "over GW-CO2" als men haar kan overtuigen met "bewijzen", die zijn er nog altijd niet voldoende zegt ze 4 jaar later als de uitgave van haar "boek".

Views on climate change

As a blogger Nova writes on the science, funding and politics related to anthropogenic global warming (AGW). Nova had a five-part debate on AGW with Dr Andrew Glikson, first on Quadrant Online,[10] and continuing on her own blog.[11] In 2012 she appeared in the ABC Television documentary I Can Change Your Mind About... Climate with her partner David Evans, in discussion with Nick Minchin and Anna Rose, in which she stated that: "...carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and that adding more to it will warm the planet, yes, absolutely, that's all well proven solid science known for years, yes. I have no disagreement with any of that. Disagreement is with how much warming there is. Is it going to be a catastrophe or is it going to be 0.5 degrees and as far as we can see the evidence the empirical evidence, and there's lots of it, all seems to point to it being around about half a degree to maybe one degree with CO2 doubling which is not the catastrophic projections that are coming out from the climate models."[12]

Publications

Nova has published a book called "Serious Science Party Tricks", which is aimed at children.
She is the author of a sixteen-page illustrated text called The Skeptics Handbook, which was widely distributed in the USA by the Heartland Institute.,[13][14] and was responded to by John Cook in "A Scientific Guide to the 'Skeptics Handbook': The evidence that humans are causing global warming".[15] In 2009 Nova issued a sequel "Global Bullies Want Your Money" and in the same year wrote a paper for the SSPI entitled "Climate Money".[16] Nova's Handbook and other texts can be downloaded from the internet.[17]
