Het is geen of-of verhaal, het is een en-en verhaal. Ik denk niet dat natuurlijke middelen moeten worden uitgesloten, maar de medische middelen evenmin.
De mensen die zich niet laten behandelen, of eerst alle 'natuurlijke' middelen uitputten, die gaan er meestal aan. Een bekend voorbeeld is Steve Jobs. Toen hij met echte medische behandelingen begon zei hij zelf dat hij te lang had geloofd in de charlatans hun verhalen van planten en andere natuurlijke genezingen. Het staat zwart op wit in zijn boek, ik heb ze zelf gelezen.

De bewijzen zijn er nu eenmaal dat alternatieve behandelingen werken. Niet altijd in alle gevallen, maar dat kan je van de medische wetenschap ook niet zeggen. Integendeel, het kan zelfs beter werken dan de traditionele medische behandelingen. Zie deze docu die ik gepost heb:

Wat absoluut ook zeker is, dat is dat voor hen die zo'n kuur weigeren en zich alleen via 'natuurlijke' therapieën laten behandelen een overgrote meerderheid het nooit haalt.

Maar ja, dan noemt men het een mirakel. Ze kunnen genezen van een mirakel, maar kan toch echt wel niets te maken hebben met die alternatieve kuur die ze gevolgd hebben hé?
Trouwens, er zijn aanwijzingen dat onbehandelde kankerpatienten langer kunnen leven in bepaalde gevallen en dat chemo ook een killer is.
Als iemand geneest met chemo wordt het altijd toegeschreven aan de chemo. Misschien zijn ze gewoon genezen door dat mirakel dat soms gebeurt en niet door de chemo hé?
