WTC7 - uw "netjes" - was dat de reden voor die verticale lijnen op de animated GIF? Niet "netjes" zou dan zijn "buiten die lijnen gaan"? Wel links zie je duidelijk een erbuiten gaan. Hoeveel vindt u "normaal"? Evenveel als bij een legoblok die omvalt? Een gebouw (wat minder toren, eerder een lego blok liggend op een grootste vlak) dat als 1 supersterk in alle richtingen - geheel omvalt?
De structuur van een gebouw dient om gewicht te dragen tegen zwaartekracht in, en om wind te weerstaan (of bij hoge torens, niet het geval hier, de uitgeoefende energie erdoor kwijt te raken door een bepaalde mate van mee-bewegen).

Aangaande uw "snel instorten": welke instortingssnelheid verwacht u eigenlijk? Er is een vrije val snelheid. Bij een instortende toren zijn er wat onvrijheden, zijnde nog stilstaande massa waarvan eerst de constructie / sterkte moet worden kapotgedrukt / gehamerd.

De WTC torens zijn... torens. Hoog boven de grond uitstekende gebouwen met groot volume. Een bunker is een gebouw onder de grond met klein volume.
Penetratie dient om explosieven binnen te krijgen, bij een bunker is dat nodig door de dikke wanden, Explosieven die binnenin zo een ruimte met sterke wanden (idem aan tank) ontploffen geven een substantieel deel van hun energie af aan de wanden, er is niks dat gemakkelijk "meegeeft" en dus energie absorbeert (principe van kreukelzones bij auto's bvb).
Een torengebouw zit vol met vensters(doorlaten energie). De wanden zijn dun (absorptie energie). Wat sterk is is de structuur, zijnde de pijlers en balken. Die moeten maar de energie opvangen die niet doorgelaten of geabsorbeerd werd, en hebben ook maar een klein oppervlak tegenover de drukgolf.
Pantserdoorborende munitie is even effectief tegen torengebouwen als een SABOT granaat tegen een peloton infanterie die niet netjes in de rij staan haaks op een quasi perfect gemikte granaat-traject.

WTC7 = groot ongepantserd bovengronds gebouw.
Nooit oorlogsverhaaltjes gelezen? Af en toe schiet er wel eens iemand met foute munitie, zoals met een pantserdoorborende granaat op een kamion. Die gaat er los door, ontploft zelfs niet, en de enige schade is een gaatje. Natuurlijk, de Tomahawk draagraket van de oorlogskop, heeft zelf weinig sterkte, 1 ton massa is nog altijd een klap, en zelfs zonder oorlogskop wordt er nog veel serieuzere schade aangericht dan een compacte granaat die niet ontploft.

Compleet naast bovenstaande, welke reden zou NATO hebben om zelfs maar te willen dat een torengebouw instort? Als 'de vyand' aanwezig is op verdiepingen, wel in hun plaats zou ik maken dat die lang goed branden en beneden geen schade is (oeioei "colateral damage").

Ik snap niet hoe u na al de discussie hierrond nog steeds zulke kortzichtige vergelijkingen kunt maken. En zelfs nog de term "hilarisch" gebruiken. Ik vind uw post niet "hilarisch", eerder teleurstellend.

Lees eens de serieuze studies na voordat je verdere cirkelverhaaltjes verteld.

Aja, de -subjectieve- NIST-simulatie is geen serieuze studie, die wordt gemakkelijk onderuit gehaald.

NFPA 921 Guidelines

Clear guidelines for structural fire investigations were established by the Technical Committee on Fire Investigations (TCFI) for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The scientific method of NFPA 921 (TCFI 2001) requires an objective analysis of the facts and careful attention to all relevant details. TCFI 2001 states: "Subjective or speculative information cannot be included in the analysis, only facts that can be proven clearly by observation or experiment."

The NIST investigation of WTC 7 did not follow the basic methodology outlined in NFPA 921—the national standard for fire investigations.
Furthermore, an objective analysis of the facts and careful attention to relevant details are not exclusive to NFPA 921; these should be
the cornerstones of any comprehensive investigation.

The destruction of WTC 7 on September 11, 2001 and the final NCSTAR reports issued in 2008 raise many questions in addition to those outlined here, but one thing is certain: Thousands of hours of computer simulation are no substitute for a forensic investigation based on published national standards and well-established principles of scientific inquiry.

Summary of Analysis Results

In summary, important insights emerge from this literature search and analysis:

(1) Within the first ten years after “9/11” (namely September 11, 2001 through September 11, 2011), the mainstream peer-reviewed literature, worldwide, contained no paper on WTC 7 that concludes with the Progressive Collapse (PC) hypothesis
(Note: Two such PC papers appear in the short-lived Journal of Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories);

(2) Within the first ten years, there are 31 distinct CD papers (i.e., arguing for the Controlled Demolition hypothesis, including 14 that address WTC 7) versus 19 distinct PC papers (i.e., arguing for Progressive Collapse, including only 2 as noted immediately above that address WTC 7);

(3) Overall, from 9/11/01 through 12/31/2012, there are 34 distinct CD papers versus 25 PC papers; among these, 15 of the CD papers address WTC 7 whereas only 4 PC papers do so, again indicating overall the importance of the CD hypothesis;

(4) Although most CD papers (and one PC paper) derive from the Journal of 9/11 Studies, six qualified and distinct CD papers appear in mainstream journals.

Conclusions

• What is most striking about our results is the fact that there is serious disagreement as to how the WTC structures fell on September 11, 2001. While precise sequences of every building component failure cannot be determined, the overall basic mechanism of destruction (i.e. some type of fire-induced natural gravitational collapse (PC), or some type of planned demolition CD) is clearly in dispute. There is no consensus. At this point, almost 12 years later, there should not be any significant disagreement about such a fundamental issue as to how three buildings were destroyed so completely given the magnitude of the event, the implications of the event, and repercussions for existing and future structural design.

• Given the fact that before September 11, 2001 no high-rise steel-frame building has ever collapsed from fire alone (Taylor, 2011), extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. The NIST Reports did not address the total collapse of the Twin Towers, truncating their study at “collapse initiation.” Overall, our peer-reviewed literature results collectively yield a very strong prima facie argument for CD.

• Other than two papers appearing in the Journal of Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories, the only papers that address WTC 7 and argue for PC are brief summaries by McAllister et al. (2012) of the non-peer-reviewed NIST report on WTC 7 (NIST, 2008). McAllister, it should be noted, was herself one of the co-project leaders for the NIST report. Thorough critiques of this paper and associated results of the NIST report are given in Legge (2009) and Brookman (2012).

• When applying the scientific method, independent confirmation of an unexpected result is a very strong form of support. Such independent confirmation occurred twice with regard to 9/11 dust contamination. First, Harrit et al. (2009) published detailed evidence for active thermitic material in relevant dust samples, thus supporting explosive demolition. This paper also appears to be one of the most extensively researched and professionally written of all 84 papers
appearing in Table 2. Entirely independent of Harrit’s work, Wu et al. (2010) published a case report of lung disease in WTC responders. They reported an “unexpected” discovery of extremely fine carbon (nanotube) structures in responder lung tissue, which are associated with dust, thus independently confirming Harrit et al., who found the same such structures in 9/11 dust samples.

• Well-qualified scientists, including physicists, have pointed out inconsistencies and violations of basic physics contained in many PC papers. For example, Dr. Crockett Grabbe, Applied Physics Ph.D. from Caltech, has raised many such critical problems (see Grabbe, 2007, 2010, 2012). Physics teacher David Chandler and co-author Jonathan Cole also document many basic physics issues at their Website 911SpeakOut.org. And Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (www.ae911truth.org), as of April, 2013, is comprised of 1,877 certified professionals who reject the PC hypothesis and jointly call for a new, independent investigation.

• The integrity of science itself is compromised when an argument that proceeds from authority alone is given precedence over the presentation of relevant, demonstrable facts (e.g., more than a hundred documented reports of explosions (MacQueen, 2012)), or even basic laws of physics (e.g., violations of conservation of energy and momentum, see Grabbe (2012)).
