Ja, dat feestje was een belangrijke bron van verspreiding (B2.3 naar C1.1), maar het ziekenhuis was belangrijker voor de uitbreiding van de cluster.
Dat feestje was niet de start van de cluster, anders was B1.1 nooit besmet geraakt.
Genetische analyse toont aan dat de cluster het gevolg is van 1 bronbesmetting, en dat die virale sequentie niet overeen komt met de sequentie die op dat moment circuleerde. Dus moet dat virus met die sequentie wel geimporteerd zijn.
