Hierdoor wordt vluchten ontmoedigd en dat heeft de volledige instemming van de VS en haar Arabische bondgenoten en Turkije. Het is een blame-game. Althans dat is de visie van senator Black. Hoe meer burgerdoden bij de verovering van Oost-Aleppo hoe groter de kritiek op Assad en Rusland, die daarvoor verantwoordelijk worden gehouden. Terwijl de VS bij haar oorlog tegen Saddam Hossein in een jaar 100.000 burgerdoden maakte en trots liet zien hoe schuilkelders werden gebombardeerd. Hier is een fragment:

The Army of Conquest was set up by Saudi Arabia and Turkey, they have joint command headquarters in Idlib, Syria, and they command the whole operation in east Aleppo.
