Daarbij was dit fake nieuws reeds zo goed als voorspeld. Zie de datums van de eerdere berichten over de White helmets in deze draad. Ik las ergens trouwens dat de White helmets 23 miljoen dollar kregen van USAID...op naar de volgende poging tot fake humanistische interventie. De vraag is vooral mijns inziens wie er achter de schermen via dit soort van al dan niet in spel gezette aanslagen de oorlog is Syrië poogt te beïnvloeden.
Die minder fake hulporganisatie, red crescent, onderzocht de gasaanval van januari in Syrië en noemde deze ook 'niet bestaande'. Maar dat embarrasing nieuws is natuurlijk niet interessant genoeg voor de opiniemakers in het westen. Past niet in de ophitserij tegen Assad.

Er is een wikipedia-pagina voor het zogenaamde gifgas incident in Douma op 7 april 2018. Daar staan verifieerbare berichten bij, zoals:
