Als met een bepaalde kracht/en /of energie een deeltje of een golf correspondeert, is dat materieel.
Als daar (blijkbaar)niets mee correspondeert, is dat immaterrieel.
Zo werkt de zwaartekracht tot nu toe immaterieel, dwz ogenblikkelijk ( zonder tijdsvertraging), en op grote afstand. Het grote Mysterie van de natuurwetenschap....
Maar volgens mij is dit niets voor Koetjes en Kalfjes...

Dat is dus een misvatting. De zwaartekracht werkt niet ogenblikkelijk. Lees in dit verband Brian R. Greene, "[The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time, and the Texture of Reality]", 2005.
