Wat me daarbij opvalt is dat de VS telkens spreken over "lafhartige" aanvallen als ze het hebben over mensen die hun eigen leven in de weegschaal leggen om het VS-imperialisme te bestrijden. Door middel van zelfmoordaanslagen, guerrilla-aanvallen, hinderlagen of zoals op 9/11.
Terwijl ze natuurlijk zelf bijzonder laag- en lafhartig vanachter hun computerschermen bombardementen uitvoeren op burgers. Het is zeker waar: in een oorlog moet je niet moedig zijn, dat is vaak zelfs dom. Een oorlog moet je gewoon winnen, eventueel door laf te zijn. Maar je tegenstander laf noemen terwijl dat etiket jezelf beter past, is toch laag bij de grond.
