Misschien vermeldenswaardig is dat het omegateken, als hoofdletter, een hoofd en armen verbeeldt. Het is de hoogste letter en hij ontstond in het Ionische alfabet. Er was al een ander o-teken. In Openbaringen wordt God de alfa en omega genoemd, het begin en het einde. In yoga is Ohm / AUM : "not just a sound or vibration. It is not just a symbol. It is the entire cosmos, whatever we can see, touch, hear and feel. Moreover, it is all that is within our perception and all that is beyond our perception."
