Hughes got his hands on a 100 kWh battery pack and did another teardown to reveal Tesla’s new cooling system and that it doesn’t have the same capacity as advertised. Though this time, it’s a higher capacity: 102.4 kWh.
In a blog post, Hughes describes the new module and cooling architecture:
Basically they crammed a couple more rows of cells into the module. But what about the rumors around cooling? Well, they did modify the cooling, but not in any exotic way. The new modules simply have two shorter and thinner cooling loops per module. This way the coolant doesn’t have to run past so many cells before exiting.

En het model 3 is sowieso een totaal ander batterijpack+management
Je blijft graag onwetend hé. Als je maar onwetend kunt lullen.
Nu ga je zelfs domme circuitpraat erbij sleuren. Het gaat hier over voertuigen voor op de openbare weg.
En een Tesla S verkoopt stukken beter dan een vergelijkbare Porsche Panamera PHEV, ook in Europa.
Enkel in thuisland Duitsland zelf verkoopt de Panamera PHEV - 2018 totnutoe - nog nipt beter dan het model S, dat zou er nog aan mankeren, dit voor een nieuwe Porsche. Maar ik zie dat het Model S al terug inhaalt aan de betere cijfers voor juni te zien. Of de Panamera gaat al snel weer bergaf in de verkoop.
