Enkele dagen geleden kon dat opgemaakt worden uit de woorden van de Oekrainse President Zelenski dat er meer aan de hand was in Rusland dan drones en Russische installaties die zich in lokatie en tijd convergeerden....


In het dagelijkse YT praatje van Davidov volgen we beelden die hij uit de Russische media voor ons becommentarieert...Het gaat volgens de Russen om de wrakstukken van een neergehaalde Flamingo,ergens in Rusland.Gezien er vrij veel onderdelen intakt en herkenbaar zijn (zoals modiules met goed zichtbare componenten en zelfs oekrainse labels) en metalen delen van de motorbehuizing met,volgens Mr Davidov de "tell-tale" gaten veroorzaakt door een luchtafweerraket(nabijheidsontsteking die schroot projecteert).....is dat geloofwaardig.....

Hijzelf schat dat de Pantsir-luchtafweer de gevaarlijkste tegenstander is voor de Flamingo...gezien deze Pantsirs bedoeld zijn voor interceptie van laagvliegende doelen en de Flamingo een GROOT laagvliegend ding is met toch vrij veel metaal aan boord...De romp is grotendeels composietmateriaal maar het aanzienlijke motorgedeelte achteraan zal wel een fijn radarbeeld geven voor een oplettende luchtafweerbatterij....


We gaan ze in ieder geval kunnen beginnen volgen ,de avonturen van de migrerende Flamingos in Rusland...

The new Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missile can reach as far as the Urals, but is also an easy target as it is clearly visible on radar and can be successfully intercepted by modern Russian air defense systems. Ukraine’s FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile powered by Soviet engines salvaged from rubbish dumps

The FP-5 Flamingo’s miracle Soviet AI-25 engine

The engine Ukraine found available in large numbers is the Soviet Ivchenko AI-25 medium bypass jet engine. During Soviet times, over 6,000 of these engines were manufactured for aircraft, while Ukraine continues to build the engine for the Czech L-39 Albatross training aircraft. The engine also powers the Chinese Hongdu JL-8 jet trainer.

Ukraine says there are thousands of these engines in post-Soviet states, Asia, and Africa. This means not only does Ukraine have the technical know-how for these engines, but there are scores of them around the world that have all but reached the end of their useful lives. Ukraine is able to sidestep the high cost and bottlenecks of other missiles.

Spent AI-25 engines are available and cheap. Ukraine’s contractor, Fire Point, purchased a large stock of these old engines before starting mass production. These worn-out engines have a residual life of up to just 10 hours remaining. This means they are useless for aircraft, but are suitable for a final one-way flight.

???????? @mil_in_ua reports that Fire Point, the manufacturer of the FP-5 Flamingo Cruise Missile, bought out a large stock of spare AI-25 jet engines that had service lives of about 10 hours remaining before they launched serial production of the FP-5.

Additionally, Ukraine is preparing to manufacture the engine in large numbers. Ukraine is one of only a few countries able to design and build jet engines.

Motor Sich is the Ukrainian contractor that produces jet engines, although it is currently not supplying new engines for the Flamingo. Instead, the current “many-month” supply was “found in a landfill” and restored by Ukraine.

But perhaps the most remarkable speed is the rate at which Ukraine plans to produce the missile. According to another Militarnyi article, the current production rate is around two missiles a day, with plans to reach 200 FP-5s a month by the end of 2025.

Toen beweerden ze dat de "huidige" (dus toen) productiesnelheid 2 per dag was, dus tegen nu 2 x 30 = 60 raketten geleverd.
Gelogen dus.
Dat plots uit de lucht vallend nieuw bedrijf Fire Point heeft een grote stock afgedankte motoren met nog een restant werkingsduur van 10 uur (lol?) gekocht.
En de toen zogezegd gemonteerde motoren, hadden ze van een stort gehaald. Ja lol.

"Uitleg" (sic) 1 voor de dus uitgebleven levering was "technische problemen".
Bij iets waarvan zogezegd serieproductie aan de gang was?
Echter, serieproductie is NA testen (proeflanceringen) en oplossen van opgetreden problemen.

Dus, 't hele Flamingo verhaal zit vol tegenstrijdigheden, betekenende dat er gelogen werd.

En daar loopt gij dus in mee...
