da lijkt me wel logisch maar het tweede woorddeel 'lari' zou ik wel willen weten.

[ak] is gewoon meervoudmorfeem, voor wie dat niet weet.

'ari' betekent waarschijnlijk zoiets als 'persoon die', zoals in 'gudariak' wat 'strijders' betekent. Skalariak betekent dus zoiets als 'Ska-isten'.
