Not only the right-wing but also the left-wing political forces in Europe show tangible support for Putin in Europe have not only the right but also the left-wing political movements. One more political force, full of controversies, that backs Russia, is the Anti-Fascist Committee of Finland. In particular, its members deny the right of Estonia and Latvia to exist as sovereign states, they resent the fact that the authorities of the Baltic States equate Communism and Fascism, considering it a “Holocaust denial”, and they also strongly justify Stalinism. For example, they consider Soviet deportations in Estonia as "anti-fascist" as "beneficial".

Sommigen hier zouden waarschijnlijk met even veel gemakzucht weer met Hitler mee heulen in het kader van "de vijand van mijn vijand is mijn vriend".
Dat soort volk verdient het dan ook zelf door hun bewierrookte Grote Staatsmannen weggezuiverd te worden, zoals dat vaak gebeurd is

dat is gelul. De Baltische staten kennen variërend tussen de 20-30 % aan Russische minderheden. Deze zijn daarheen gedeporteerd in de koude oorlog om de oorspronkelijke bevolking te minoriseren. Tegelijkertijd werden grote delen ethnische Balten naar Siberië verbannen. Het zou me niets verbazen als die etnische russen Poetin een hele meneer vinden, maar de Baltische staten voelen zich wel degelijk, en terecht, bedreigd door Rusland

Klopt inderdaad. Ethnische Balten (Esten, Letten en Litouwers) - die 80% van de bevolking uitmaken moeten absoluut niet weten van Putin.
