Ondertussen in Libië:
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa...282732356.html Libya's political crisis has deepened as armed groups surrounding two ministries in the capital said they had formed an alliance to present an expanded list of six demands that included the resignation of Prime Minister Ali Zeidan. The armed groups initially demanded that parliament pass the "political isolation law" banning senior officials, who held a senior position under late Muammar Gaddafi, from office, and members had hoped the vote would be enough to dislodge the gunmen from their positions at the government ministries. Instead, the groups have settled in and expanded their list of demands, which they presented to Reuters news agency on a printed notice late on Wednesday. The additional demands included Zeidan's resignation, the freezing of a recently released state budget and the right to form a committee to take charge of the Foreign Ministry. Rival warning In a separate development, a rival coalition that said it supported the government warned those stationed at the ministries it was prepared to use force to dislodge them. "If you do not respond to our demands, we will form a common national force from all the cities of Libya to handle this situation," the group said on Wednesday. Its members included federalists in eastern Cyrenaica and leaders of former rebel groups in a number of towns including Benghazi in the east. Zeidan, for his part, promised the government would stick to plans to bar anyone who held a senior position under Gaddafi and said some ministers would have to be replaced under legislation passed on Sunday. Zeidan defended the armed groups, saying they had a right to express their views as they saw fit. "We don't have militias in Libya, we have revolutionaries," he told a news conference. The prime minister also denied that parliament had bowed to their pressure, insisting the new law was necessary to protect the ideals of the revolution, adding he hoped the world would appreciate Libya's exceptional circumstances. "With any law passed, there are some positive and some negative aspects, and we need to accept the negatives," he said. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa...282732356.html De UNDP berekende ook dat de human development index van LibiË sinds de machtsovername door gewapende milities met 10 plaatsen gezakt is...

ondertussen in Libië:
Libya is importing diesel and fuel oil to fend off increasing power cuts, as queues of drivers grow at the pumps and daily life grows harder in the face of political crisis. Most gas fields in its eastern region, which had supplied power plants, have been shut in the worst disruption to Libya's energy sector since the civil war in 2011. Armed groups, security guards and oil workers with tribal loyalties have shut down pipelines and oil ports across the country. The power sector is already struggling with an estimated shortfall of around 1,000 MW due to summer peak consumption, an electricity official said. The capital Tripoli has regular power cuts that have worsened in recent days and officials privately say Libya could expect longer rationing if the crisis continues. A National Oil Company senior official said Libya had imported at least three times the quantities of liquid fuel than usual in order to keep power plants operating. "All the gas in the eastern part has stopped," said the official, who requested anonymity. Ahmad Mustapha Hussein, a senior official at the state run General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), said it could take weeks for major combined cycle gas turbine power plants to go back to natural gas if the crisis persists. "There have been a lot of problems as a result of the strikes and this is affecting generating units," said Hussein, adding that the cost of importing diesel and fuel oil were adding to fiscal pressures as a result of the loss of oil revenues.Strikers have denied they have tampered with gas pipelines, saying instead their aim is to thwart exports of oil, much of which they say has been sold illegally by the government amid allegations of corruption. http://english.al-akhbar.com/content...ya-import-fuel |

Libië produceerde voor de, vooral door de zionisten Lévy en Sarkozy, op gang gebrachte agressie 1.500.000 vaten olie per dag, vandaag zijn er dat nog 150.000 (per dag). BRON
