Ja, maar verder dan wat symboliek moet je er niet achter zoeken. Wie in de Franse staat werkelijk begaan is met het taalkundig en cultureel patrimonium, zit eerder aan de regionale linkse kant. De meest fervente taalactivisten vindt je aan de linkerzijde. "Identitair" rechts is als het er op aan komt zeer Frans staatsnationalistisch.

Mei '68 was een links politieke beweging, heel weinig affiniteiten met hippies. Hippies zover ik weet ambieerde nooit politieke of economische macht wel integendeel.

The United Left Alliance is an electoral alliance of left-wing political parties and independent politicians in the Republic of Ireland. It shares some common views on Europe with Sinn Féin.




Norway

Norway has rejected EU membership in two referendums, 1972 and 1994. The Centre Party, Christian Democratic Party, Socialist Left Party and the Liberal Party were against EU-membership in both referendums. The Centre Party and Socialist Left Party are also against the current membership in the European Economic Community

Terwijl de babyboomers van het linkse establishment zich in hun warme huizen voldaan en volgevreten voor de tv nestelen, trekken de jongeren van GI door de kou om hun dakloze volksgenoten te voorzien van warme kleding, dekens, koffie en vooral wat menselijke betrokkenheid.

Het mag best geweten zijn dat GI de enigen zijn die zich om de autochtone daklozen bekommeren, toch?
Op linkse antiblanke islamofielen moeten die namelijk niet rekenen.

Het mag best geweten zijn dat GI ... zich om de autochtone daklozen bekommeren, toch?

Uiteraard mag dat best geweten zijn, maar het zou 'plus authentique' overgekomen zijn als die GI niet zélf voor de publicité omtrent hun solidarité hadden gezorgd.

Nu hangt er een geurtje van ostentatieve 'gutmenscherei' rond de identité.

Een mens zou wel eens kunnen denken dat die GI toch ook maar ordinaire politiekers zijn
