(9) En wij plaatsten ons op sommige der zetels om de gesprekken zijner bewoners te hooren; maar wie thans zou luisteren, zou den vlammenden schicht vinden, die in hinderlaag gelegd is, om de grenzen van den hemel te beschermen (hem te treffen).
