23 januari 2014 - British Muslims fighting in Syria are highly likely to attempt terrorist attacks on British soil, the country’s most senior counter-terrorism police officer has warned. Commander Richard Walton, head of Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism unit, said it was “almost inevitable” that a Briton currently involved in the conflict would eventually attempt on outrage against this country or another Western target. He warned that a “shocking” number of British children are being lured into the conflict, and disclosed two teenage girls were arrested attempting to travel to Syria earlier this month, although no charges were brought. “All our experience around Afghanistan is that if British Muslims get trained in camps they become a very real threat because the al-Qaeda narrative extends to Western attack. It’s almost inevitable,” Mr Walton told the Evening Standard.

In 2010, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that stop and search procedures without grounds for suspicion were illegal.

Last year it was found that a quarter of of police stop and search procedures in the UK were being carried out without officers obeying the law.</sub>

Juist, met terrorismebestrijding, terrorisme waar men op de eerste plaats zelf voor verantwoordelijk is natuurlijk, als voorwendsel.

Dat en nog wat echt terrorisme (valse vlaggen of moslimterreur, maakt niet uit) is wat we mogen verwachten in onze EU.
